GTKY: What has been your favorite Halloween costume or what are you dressing up as this year? When I taught dance in college a little 5 year old girl came in a flamingo costume her mom made. I always said if I had a little girl she would be a flamingo for Halloween one year. My plan was to do it this year, but with covid and only having a socially distanced gathering with one family we will hold off on that for one more year. If this baby is a girl I am thinking they will both be flamingos next year.

Upcoming appointments: My first OB appointment is tomorrow, I'm quite nervous to find out if everything is still going okay (first check with my RE 2weeks ago was fine, but can't help but still be nervous).  Also have appointment on Friday to get blood drawn at my RE to get my schedule to ween off IVF meds.  I am so excited about this one, I can't wait to stop the PIO shots!
How are you feeling?: decent, actually.  symptoms haven't been bad so far.

GTKY: What has been your favorite Halloween costume or what are you dressing up as this year?  We normally throw a halloween party every year, but obviously that's out this year and I never bothered with a costume.  As an adult I usually just buy a costume out of a bag, so I'm going to go way back to when I was a kid for my best costume.  When I was 4 or 5 my mom made me a homemade Rainbow Brite costume, it was identical to the dress my doll was wearing!  She not only sewed all my costumes when I was little but also made a lot of my clothes so she was quite the seamstress!  I hope I can do something like that for my little one.

@klj0228 omg, matching flamingo costumes sound adorable!  and sorry you're feeling so sick, hope it eases up soon.

Reposting here because I forgot my due date was changed to June 6 as of yesterday’s ultrasound!

Team Green/Pink/Blue/Finding Out: finding out! Sent in my Sneak Peek test yesterday. I decided just to do that for fun since this is my last baby. I won’t trust the results until I get my NIPT results!

Upcoming appointments: just had my first yesterday, got to see the little babe. Was measuring a couple days ahead so that was nice. NIPT blood draw in two weeks and next appt in 4 weeks. 

How are you feeling?: pretty good! Boobs are getting more sore as the weeks go on, still cramps here and there. Some slight nausea mostly at night, and fatigue.

Rants/Raves: my kiddos are crazy this week because of Halloween and then we go to GWL to celebrate two of my kiddos fall birthdays

GTKY: What has been your favorite Halloween costume or what are you dressing up as this year? hubby and I were Fred and Wilma one year long ago before kids. It was funny. Haven’t dressed up in years, I hate to say! But I love watching my kids dress up!

@ellieemc26 my mom made many of our costumes and some of my clothes as a kid too! This week is spirit week at daycare and today was 101 Dalmatian day. I sewed the spots on my daughters shirt instead of drawing them. When my mom asked why I didn’t draw them I told her it was because I remember her doing stuff like that when we were kids and I want to do that for my kids. I love that you have similar memories!! 

@mamakate2011 I can’t wait to see if your sneak peak results are correct. I’ve considered it, but at this point my NIPT results are only a couple weeks away.

How are you feeling?: mornings are rough, nausea is in full swing 
Rants/Raves: rant - not sure if this is quite a rant, but it’s always weird to me when people cc the boss when they’re accepting your offer to help after they asked for help. Like, do you not trust me to follow through? Or did they tell you to get help and now you’re proving it? 

Rave - I made cookies and prepped dinner during a meeting today, while still actually participating. Screen off is great sometimes 
Questions: 
GTKY: What has been your favorite Halloween costume or what are you dressing up as this year? Favorite was when a group of friends and I went as the 7 dwarves. A few bailed at the last minute, and we actually ended up with a write up in our local paper, they said we were out looking for the rest of the dwarves. Super fun! This year I’ll probably be a dinosaur again with DS

@klj0228 same question! Feels so hard to hide right now, but I also don’t want to tell anyone, so 🤷‍♀️ Thank goodness for working from home and taking calls from my couch today...

How are you feeling?: yesterday and today I've been feeling SOOO much better. Extreme hunger is subsiding, and exhaustion is evening out. Right now my only symptoms are super sore tits and nips and tight jeans.

Rants/Raves: DH and I DTD for the first time since i found out i was pregnant. I must be feeling better!

Questions: Not really a questions. I've been feeling flutters the last 2 days or so - i know its impossible to feel baby at this point, but exciting none the less. 

GTKY: What has been your favorite Halloween costume or what are you dressing up as this year? I was a theatre major in college so Im really into the makeup aspect and prostetics for halloween. My favorite costume was when DH and i went has the Underworld Characters, Selene & Michael Corvin. I found special contacts and tooth prostectics for vampire fangs, and I outdid myself with a specal gray scale makeup. It was epic. We lived in NYC at the time and really freaked people out. So fun. This year I got a cute shirt from an Etsy shop that says "Whinnie, i smell a child" with the Hocus Pocus witches on it and little footprints on my belly. I'll accesorize with a witch hat and some fun earings. This will be our pregnancy announcement to friends and neighbors.

Rants/Raves: I have been back to work for two months after taking 10 months off for mental health reasons (different company, same industry). And I hate it so much.... I'm begging myself to hang in for at least a few months since I can't travel anywhere. But.... This is hard. Although I keep receiving rave reviews from all my colleagues so I am putting up an excellent front 🤦‍♀️.

GTKY: What has been your favorite Halloween costume or what are you dressing up as this year? My mom made our costumes when we were younger. One year she made all of us M&M costumes. Everyone had their own color and my sister was the bag. It's was fun because both my aunt's joined in so my cousins also had costumes that matched us.

yay for all the sewing moms!  although realistically I think my MIL will steal that one from me.  We have two nieces aged 13 and 16 and she has been making their costumes every year since they were born!  

So had the first OB appointment today and I have to say I am feeling so much more relaxed and okay about things now!  I think I really did need to get out of the RE's office and get on a more normal track.  Its also a new doc I had never met and I really liked her.  She took the time to talk about all the things I was worried about and I just feel so much better about things now.  Phew, now I just need to get myself refocused and get back to work!

How are you feeling?: tired, hungry, nauseous. My nausea seems a little better the past few days which I’m trying not to read into.  To be fair I’ve snacked a lot more during those days so maybe that’s why? 

Rants/Raves: I’ve been so freaking busy at work I hadn’t gotten to participate on the boards much!  But I’m off for the next 3 days so I’m looking forward to relaxing and not being so busy lol

GTKY: What has been your favorite Halloween costume or what are you dressing up as this year?  I’ve never really been one to dress up much honestly lol but one year I had some OR scrubs from work that I ripped up and made into a zombie doctor lol while not very original I had a ton of fun making it

GTKY: What has been your favorite Halloween costume or what are you dressing up as this year? I would say my best one was a shower poof (scubber, whatever). I took a strapless sundress and put a large amount of toule all around the dress sticking out. Then hung a cord off the front like the little rope on them for people's wrists. It was very fun!
