Leuprolide acetate

I’ve been taking leuprolide acetate daily since 9/11 and my cycle should have started last week.

How long did you take leuprolide acetate before your period started?

Should I be concerned?

    Have you stopped taking the leuprolide acetate? As long as you are taking it, it will prevent you from ovulating so your next cycle will not start until you stop taking it.

    In my experience, depending on how many days I was on it, it has taken between 40-50 days from the last day of the leuprolide acetate just to ovulate. I've heard it can take up to 6 months for your cycle to return (more likely when it's the depot lupron than the daily injection).

    @inthewoods23

    Im going to call the Dr. tomorrow b/c she said I should take it up until my cycle start. My cycle should have started last week..

    I thought it was suppose to be a 14 day kit but I have been taking it well over 14 days now.

    I’m just curious if anyone else has had to take this 14 day kit longer.

    It lasts 14 days if you're injecting 20 units a day. For my egg retrieval and FETs I was doing 10 units a day most of the time. This allowed the vial to last about 28 days
