Wainscoting?

Just curious if anyone installed beadboard or wainscoting in their baby's nursery. If so, how hard and/or expensive was it?

I found a picture of a nursery online that I love, but don't know if we could do this ourselves and still have money to cloth/diaper the baby!

We dont have wainscoting, but I LOVE the way it looks!  My husband installed crown molding throughout our house (HUGE job b/c it isnt easy to do) but we saved so much money not hiring someone.  If you and your husband are handy, I dont think it'll be too hard to do.  You could also just put in a chair rail.  That my be simpler.  Not sure if you're near a Home Depot or Lowes, but go there and ask a sales person for some advice/guidance. Or, maybe post an ad looking for a handy man on craigs list.  With the economy, I'm sure a lot of people arent upgrading their homes.  You might be able to get a good deal on labor.  Good luck!

We installed wainscoting in both of our bathrooms and it was not expensive. Also depends on how big the room is though.

We just put up wainscoting in a small hallway and laundry room.  It looks really good.  However that tiny space was over $200 and we got it at cost because of our construction company.  If you get it on sale its completely worth the investment.  Not that hard to put up either
