Its 1:15am and I'm on week 2 of no sleep. I get maybe 2 or 3 hours combined each night. I have pelvic girdle pain and sciatica on my right side which is so utterly painful, I literally can't sleep. I take half a unisom each night, do stretching, bounce on a ball, heating pad and ice, etc.. Any tips of how to deal?? This is baby #3 and neither were this bad. I'm going crazy with no sleep.. help!
@elmich3 a pregnancy pillow wasn't cutting it for me this time around, so I bought a new fluffy mattress pad for our bed. It's helped quite a bit - is your mattress really firm?
I am using a pregnancy pillow but it doesn't help. We have a temperpedic type mattress that forms to my body. But I feel like it makes my hips unsupported and makes my pelvis ache more. Is it better to have firm?
@elmich3 I have a tempurpedic as well, I would think corn would hurt more? Have you tried putting the pregnancy pillow under your hip/ butt instead of in between your theighs? So it takes the pressure off of the hip joint?
My pregnancy pillow doesn’t do much this time around so when my hip is really bothering me, I sleep on the recliner part of the couch. It seems to be my only relief lately! @elmich3
