Hi, I’m new here and also find it difficult to introduce myself in a way that doesn’t sound super awkward, so... hello.
My husband (39) and I (32) have been trying for almost 3 years. Almost exactly a year ago, I was diagnosed with endometriosis, which meant that a whole lot of stuff I’ve experienced since I was a teenager finally makes sense. I did have surgery and in theory that should have helped, but still no luck a year later.
We learned yesterday that our first IUI attempt failed. We’re getting set for our first try at IVF in November, since I have to be off the prescriptions for a full cycle before they’ll start again.
I don’t have any specific questions for now - just wanted to introduce myself and say I’m happy/not happy to be here (glad to have found you all, wish none of us needed to be here).
