A research coordinator came in to talk to me about enrolling in a study on chronic hypertension and i decided to enroll in the study. I got randomly selected to stop my blood pressure med. I was ok with that after learning there’s some debate/theory that the meds themselves can cause small babies. So anyway i just have to check my BP and make sure it doesn’t get too high. If it does then I restart my meds. Glad I contribute to science though.

Anyway, I’ll just be waiting now for a call from the high risk doctor to set up an appointment, and we’ll go from there.

thank you all, I’m hoping the follow up will be better. I’m trying to drink extra water since I hear that can help with the low fluid. It’s hard just waiting, but it’s encouraging feeling her continue to move. Hopefully I can get in soon.
@annanbby I hope you are able to get in asap and that everything is ok.
We had our anatomy scan last Monday. I discussed in the weekly thread as well but our sonographer was very new and did not know her stuff. I am grateful we have a growth scan ultrasound at 28 weeks but am still concerned that something important could have been missed in the AS by this ultrasound tech who struggled hard with getting the measurements needed. I really don't trust any of the measurements she took and I don't believe my OB did either from what I picked up from her in our post-AS conversation. I'm currently contemplating whether to call my OB's office tomorrow because I am STILL having pain in my left middle abdominal muscles from how hard the US tech was digging in my torso during the scan.
ETA: was she still in training?
