I have my high risk OB intake tomorrow and I have sooo many questions. I hope she doesn't mind 🤷‍♀️ I used to know what were my GP's opinion and preferences. Now I feel like I have to start all over.

@mimser I'm sure high risk docs are used to answering ALLLLLL the questions! I'd take advantage of it and ask them absolutely everything!

I had my first high risk OB appointment today. We really liked her and she didn't make me feel rushed even though she had a full waiting room and I was in there basically for an hour. She recommended we go ahead with an elective cerclage at 13 weeks, so looks like that will be the plan to give us our best chance at a healthy full-term baby. (I had PPROM at 20 weeks during my last pregnancy). Deep down, that's what I wanted us to do so I'm happy she preferred this approach to the wait and see (cervical lengths US and progesterone) as now I feel like we're doing the best we can. Now to accept the fact that I'll never have a "normal" pregnancy, but the idea of a good outcome is soooooo worth it.

@mimser I'm glad your appointment went well.

I'm currently waiting for my dating scan. When I booked I was told my husband would be allowed with me but when I arrived they said he has to wait outside the hospital. He may be allowed in *if* the tech "allows it" 🙄 
Fingers crossed for a nice tech!

My first appointment is today at 3pm and I'm a ball of nerves...my stomach is in knots! I'm a stm so I feel like I should know what to expect, but I'm just so nervous!

@spartan4life This is definitely the hardest appointment, IMO!!!!! Prayers that all is perfect! How many weeks are you?

Baby is all good and measuring at 8w2d instead of the 7w6d I thought so that's exciting!

Had my dating ultrasound today, and baby is measuring right on track at 8 weeks. I have a minor SCH, but the doctor isn't concerned, says everything else looks great.
