Higher hcg...could it be multiples?

I’m about 6 weeks right now and my doctor send me to get an hcg blood test as part of their procedures for my first Ob appointment and it came back 23,800. Could that be a sign of multiples?

Here is a website where you can see the wide range of normal HCG levels for singletons and multiples. You’re somewhere in the normal range for 6 weeks, so based off only that, I’d say no.

As a mom of multiples, I never had HCG levels taken, so I can’t tell you how mine compared, but only an ultrasound will be able to tell you if you are expecting more than one. 

Either way, I wish you a H&H 9 months.
