Start a Peloton/Fitness Thread?

I noticed a lot of mamas/mamas to be in here are Peloton fans. I actually just ordered a bike that gets delivered in a couple weeks because gyms in NYC have only just barely reopened at 30% capacity and Im concerned about getting in cardio this winter/during COVID times. Should we pin a thread with our favorite classes/apps? (Not just Peloton but any at-home workouts) so we can stay as healthy as we can as we move back into colder temps?

  • I’m down! I don’t have a peloton, don’t plan on getting one but staying fit is a big goal for me this pregnancy.

  • I don’t plan on going out to gyms or yoga studios anytime soon, so def taking recommendations for good online stuff you’ve found! I’ve been doing a lot of Patrick Beach yoga on YouTube and HAS fit strength workouts. 
  • I’d be down for a general Healthy Habits weekly check in. We were getting ready to order components for a “DIY Peloton” but then we found out I was pregnant and I know myself enough to know I won’t start during pregnancy 😂 I will be doing strength exercises and trying to walk most days though. 
  • Awesome!! If no one starts a fitness thread by tmw I’ll kick it off. I’d love to see everyone’s recs in one place so I can try new things and find something in addition to yoga to stick to.  💪🏽

  • I’m in! I got a Peloton a couple months ago. My friend rode hers right up until she delivered so I hope to do the same!
  • We don't have a Peloton, but I'd appreciate a healthy habits/fitness encouragement thread.
