Can we talk implantation bleeding!?

I am 5w with my first pregnancy. I have had a very rough day bc I started spotting. It was def more than I thought it was supposed to be and lighter red this morning but as the day progressed it has gotten darker and lighter. To be honest I spent the day crying and losing my mind. I will call my doc but they won’t be open until Tuesday. I just want to hear from others for either reassurance or better luck next time.

If you are 5 weeks that is not implantation bleeding.   Implantation happens 10-14 days after conception.  

Possible reasons for bleeding: irritated the cervix (sex), some ladies just do with no issues, some ladies do and leads to unsuccessful pregnancy,  subchronic hematoma, along with other reasons.

If it was spotting to a light flow be cautious until Tuesday. If it becomes heavy, filling a pad, extreme cramping and pain definately call the office and speak to the emergency on call OBGYN/Midwife.

Still bleeding but got my levels and they are okay. Going back Thursday for more.... fingers crossed
