Anything flame-worthy this fine Friday?

I took a sick day today even though I probably didn’t need to. I woke up and puked my brains out at 3:45am. I felt better afterwards bc I just ate way too much at dinner last night but as soon as I crawled into bed I emailed my work and told them I wouldn’t be in. I slept in until 10:30 since it’s Hs job to get DS ready in the morning. Now I’m just going to clean and run to the store and enjoy the quiet of my house.

@moguippy hey! waking up in the middle of the night to be sick is still draining whether you're preggo sick or real sick. So i think it's fine! 

FFFC I have my energy back to clean up the house etc after work, but I literally don't want to. I mean, I want it to be clean, but I don't want to actually clean it up. I use pregnancy as my excuse to let it go more. OOPS SO tonight my goal is to put away all the dishes and clean the kitchen!

FFSC... I don’t like the term wifey and it makes me cringe when people refer to themselves that way

@mdfarmchick agreed! Another I hate is “preggo.” Makes my skin crawl. Guess that’s my FFFC?

This is a flame free Saturday confession. This morning I told my H that I had to get something from the grocery store, so he needed to watch DS while I went out. I did not need anything from the grocery store. Instead, I went to Starbucks, got a strawberry refresher and a coffee cake, and sat in my car for 20 minutes in blissful silence while I ate. I did stop by the store to buy butter so that it would look like I actually had a purpose to going out. I am not sorry.

@mdfarmchick - I don't mind wifey, but I think a big part of it depends on who and how they say it for whether or not I find it cringeworthy.

@szwill86 - Same. One of my co-workers started calling me "preggos" and I just can't.

@hannahbananas11 -  My closest Starbucks is inside of a grocery store, so no one would ever be the wiser. Sometimes you just need a break and a few minutes alone to yourself, that's not a crime!
