How many months have you been TTC?: 0, and so it begins...
What are you doing to get knocked up (WAYDTGKU)?: Right now, easing into TTC and just watching CM.
Tell us about yourself! (Kids, pets, job, hobbies, etc.): Hi there! Its been a long time since I have been around these boards (6 years or so).
    TW Kids
I was on TB boards with my first son back in 2015. MH and I have two kiddos (DS is 5.5; DD is 4 this month). We have been throwing around the idea of TTC a third for about two years now, but never felt it was the *right* time.

I work in marketing FT, and MH works in retail management. My work schedule has been severely affected by the pandemic, and I foresee myself being home much of the next couple of months. So, why not try to have a baby?! I think I am right around ovulation now, so we had sex the past two nights. Will be interesting to see if anything comes out of this cycle! Looking forward to chatting with all of you more!

ETA: I realized I didn't add a spoiler to my post re: kids. Just wanted to come back and reformat to add that. I am sorry to anyone who was caught off guard.

  • @krash_ It sounds like you and your husband are on the right path to making things work! I totally understand the feeling of waiting for the right time to have a baby. Sometimes there is never a perfect time, so might has well work with what you have!

  • @krash_ welcome back. So sorry for all you have been through. Hoping you guys can work it all out together. Sending you lots of love and strength ❤

  • @daisy528 Welcome back! Hope your stay here is short & fun.

@krash_ We welcome you back with open arms. I’m so sorry for all the stress you’ve been through! But it sounds like you guys are putting in full effort to turn the situation around. It sounds like a LOT of work, but hopefully well worth it. I hope your relationship comes out even stronger than it’s ever been before.💗

  • @keikilove thanks! I loved being a part of the boards in the past, so I am looking forward to learning more about everyone! :)

Also, just wanted to apologize for not including a TW in my initial post (re: kids). Totally my fault, but I have since edited to reformat. I am sorry if it caught anyone off guard! Not my intentions at all. What a way to start a first impression...

  • @daisy528 TW for children isn't required in the newbie post. It is outside this thread and the TFAS thread. So if you did that in response to my meltdown in the randoms thread, it's all good! No hard feelings  :) I've just been at this for far too long  :s

  • @inthewoods23 slightly in response (and I do NOT blame you for feeling that way at all - you have absolutely every right to) but mostly because I saw in a previous newbie intros post other people did. Figured it wouldn't hurt to add anyways!! I have made a lot of friends through TB boards in the past who have different TTC pasts, so I just wanted to make sure I was taking everyone's feelings into consideration :) I am excited to be apart of the boards!

  • Hey there!

I used to be moderately active on these boards, but I had to walk away for my mental health. More below!

Ages (you and SO): Me: 31 DH: 33
How many months have you been TTC?: Actively for 2 years from September 2015-December 2017, stopped trying (but not preventing) while we moved to a new state, got new jobs, bought a house, remodeled said house, paid off debt, etc. So as of yesterday (CD1) we are officially trying again.
What are you doing to get knocked up (WAYDTGKU)?: We are starting with OPKs and PNV. If nothing happens by December, we will add in more supplements, temping (that was always a struggle for me), etc.
Tell us about yourself! (Kids, pets, job, hobbies, etc.): I am a Program Coordinator for a shoe company and DH is a fiber optic cable technician. We have 2 cats and a puppy, who takes up all of our time. We love hiking, watching TV, working on our house, hanging out with friends, enjoying the beauty of the PNW.

  • Hi, new to the group :)

    age : me: 39
             Husband:40

    - trying time conceive for 15 months

    - WATDTGKU- tracking periods, OPK

We have a 2 1/2 year-old daughter, didn’t have any trouble conceiving her but we sure are this time. I am into a lot of sports- currently cycling, running, hiking, Slopitch. Love spending time with my family.  I worked in addictions and mental health counselling for several years but taking a break from working for a bit to spend time with my daughter. We moved due to my husband’s job last year and I am loving living super close to the Rocky Mountains.

  • Welcome back @krash_!!! Wow - it sounds like lots has happened in those 6 weeks (also, I can’t believe it’s been 6 weeks already!) I’m glad to hear YH is getting the help he needs. And also sounds like stepping away from all the tracking/supplementing might be a good thing.

@daisy528 welcome back to the threads and hopefully your stay here will be short but sweet. FX.

@Maggie1202 welcome back and congrats on the big changes you’ve made since last TTCing. Hopefully that break and those changes is what you needed and that it happens quickly for you!

@vicki2020 welcome back and so sorry that baby #2 has been a struggle. I hope you’ll find the support you’ve been missing here; but also that you don’t hang around here for too long.

  • Hi Everyone! I am so excited to be here!

Ages (you and SO):  I’m 32 and DH is 37
How many months have you been TTC?: we are on month 3 CD1
What are you doing to get knocked up (WAYDTGKU)?:  Currently BBT with FF, checking CM, taking a prenatal, upped our frequency

Tell us about yourself! (Kids, pets, job, hobbies, etc.):
I was on this board about 7ish years ago and it was so nice to have a place to come to lend and received support during this wild ride. DH and I have a 7 year old and I currently stay home with her. I had a little side hustle before the pandemic but currently on pause.
I love to read, love to do embroidery while I watch Netflix, into crafty things. I enjoy going on walks and love going to the beach.
We are currently exploring the idea that I might have Endometriosis, which has changed life for us a bit.
DH doesn’t want to talk about TTC he just wants it to happen and I feel pretty lonely trying to figure out my range of emotions with no one to talk to. Then I remembered how wonderful it was to have boards so I decide CD1= sign up.

    Me: 32
    DH: 37
    Married: May 24, 2008

  • Hi! Everyone! I am excited to be here and to get to know you all.

Ages (you and SO): 33 and DH is 34

How many months have you been TTC?: This will be month 1.

What are you doing to get knocked up (WAYDTGKU)?: Right now, just DTD and waiting for my first cycle post contraceptive removal. My cycles have always been very erratic, so I'll start charting after AF comes.

Tell us about yourself! (Kids, pets, job, hobbies, etc.): DH and I have been married for 5 years and have a 3.5 year old. I love to read, travel (although covid has put the breaks on that quite a bit), exercise (spin/yoga, right now- looking forward to running more once the weather cools down). DH and I are huge foodies and love to cook, drink wine, and try out new restaurants.
