TWW Wednesday 8.12

**This is a thread that welcomes all regardless of where they are at in their TTC journeys. Please be mindful of topics that are discussed that could be hurtful to those going through tough times. Mention of children or pregnancies of others should have a TW (trigger warning) and be in a spoiler if possible, and only be mentioned if it is extremely pertinent to the conversation. Thanks for keeping this a safe place for us all to engage!**

    Month/Cycle: 2/2

    CD/DPO: 22/5

    Timing: -3, -1

    Typical LP length: unknown

    Testing: I’ll start this weekend

R/R: I lifted and ran (a little bit of walking mixed in) 1.5 miles yesterday and didn’t wake up sore this morning, and I am super happy about that!  In other news I have a dry run of a very important presentation on Friday, and I haven’t even started making it, so today and tomorrow are going to suck.

CS/Q: No questions, but FF finally relented and marked my ovulation and baseline.  (Yeah!)

  • Options
I started writing out a post yesterday and then never got to finish it... 😫

@inthewoods23 yay for CH and not being sore! Are you following any sort of workout program or just doing it on your own? And gl getting your presentation done.

    Month/Cycle: 3/2

    CD/DPO: 30/8

    Timing: Good

    Typical LP length: 13-14

    Testing: not yet

R/R:  I’m really worried about going back to school. We’re going with a hybrid model, but I’m not sure it’s the best choice. It’s going to be really hard to manage connecting with both students in front of us and at home. It’s such a hard situation. Fully in person is not the best choice for health, yet remote is not the best choice for effective instruction. I’m just feeling anxious about the upcoming year

CS/Q: Low temp this morning so 🤷‍♀️ FF had moved my CH yesterday but moved them back today. With all the stress I’m feeling lately I’m not sure if this will be our month

@BuckeyeNut05 Great job on your workout! Good luck making your presentation!

@fameonmain2 Totally understand your anxiety around school. There are huge downsides to both options. There is no perfect solution but I'm sure you're going to do your best <3

    Month/Cycle: 4/3

    CD/DPO: 35/11

    Timing: -4, -2, -1

    Typical LP length: 13

Testing: BFN this morning. Probably won't test again :(

R/R: Just going to be waiting for my gyn appt in 15 days.

    CS/Q: none

@fameonmain2 I hear you with the schooling...we’re in the same boat only we’re all remote which will be a huge challenge. Even though it’s a long time, I remind myself every day that this is not permanent.

Re your chart - maybe an implantation dip?  I’ll keep my fingers crossed that it goes back up!

To answer your question, no specific program, just me on my own. I did Orangetheory for like 4 years (totally over it now, but they have the best workouts) and track my macros so I know what I need to do to get in shape and change my body composition.  Changing my habits and lifestyle back to something healthy and active after a long hiatus are my biggest hurdles.

@BuckeyeNut05 yay for not being sore! Thats awesome that you got your workout in! GL with your presentation!

@fameonmain2 yeah, I know what you mean. My husband is an educator and he was on the committee to try to come up with a good plan for their district. I think no option is perfect, and the anxiety everyone is feeling is completely real. I hope this model will work for your district, and allow for safety and good instruction.

@priyadoc ugh, sorry for the BFN :( Remind me, what is the focus of your upcoming appointment? Are you moving forward with letrozole?

    Month/Cycle: 13/11

    CD/DPO: CD24, 7DPO

    Timing: -5, -3, -1, O

    Typical LP length: 11-12 days

Testing: Probably will do a test Sunday evening

R/R: I have been having some mood SWINGS. I felt down, then irritable, and then happy over the past few days. Ugh, I hope it's not PMS but it probably is. I got my progesterone level drawn this morning, so just anxiously waiting for the results.

    CS/Q: Nope

  • Options

    @buckeyenut05 GL on that presentation!

@fameonmain2 i guess theres really no right answer here huh? sounds challenging either way, hopefully you can manage the stress of it

    @priyadoc sorry for BFN :(

    Month/Cycle: 8/7 since loss

    CD/DPO: 23/7

    Timing: -3, 0

    Typical LP length: 11

Testing: i dont have any tests to take so WFAF

R/R: feeling very stressed about work/finances lately. i am working nonstop (definitely FT) but still at half pay. ive officially started applying for other jobs, even though i know leaving this one will be really tough.  the whole leaving aspect is giving me anxiety, but taking half pay for 5 months has been rough, with no end in sight.

CS/Q: got my CD21 labs done today, hopefully quick answers!

@bbrahmbhatt Yes, it's to talk more and then schedule HSG. After HSG and SA the plan is for letrozole. I'm right there with you with the moodiness and PMS-type symptoms, but I hope that's not what it is for you!!

@asf0613 Half pay for 5 months - I would be looking for a new job too. I know it's anxiety provoking, though!

@BuckeyeNut05 good luck with your presentation! And congrats on getting through a workout without soreness; hopefully Day 2 won’t be bad either. I had tried OT for a few month and while I liked the workouts, I felt it was too cultish.

@fameonmain2 I feel for all the teachers and school districts out there struggling to figure out a solution for teaching the kids in a safe manner. Like you said, there doesn’t seem to be the right answer, just a compromise of some sorts that is supremely taxing on all involved. GL.

@priyadoc I am sorry for the BFN. The 15 days will fly by and I’m sure you’ll be happy when you start getting some answers and solutions. But don’t count yourself out until AF shows!

@bbrahmbhatt it sounds like your “neggies” have decided to haunt you all week. Do you normally PMS so soon after O? Seems a bit early to me but who knows. Keep posted on CD21 results!

@asf0613 Woah... your work situation doesn’t sound tenable. How can they ask you to take 50% cut but keep working the same hours? Do you have any option to push back?! Especially since looking for a new job is a full-time job on its own. I hope you get some answers from CD21 testing!

    AFM....

    Month/Cycle: 7/7

    CD/DPO: 22/2

    Timing: -4, -2, O

Typical LP length: I have LPD so it varies 9-12 days. Taking progesterone this cycle.

Testing: maybe on 8/20? We have a f/u with RE that day so I might be tempted ahead of time. But it’ll only be 9DPO so likely too soon to give me any sort of answers.

R/R: Had my pelvic ultrasound yesterday which insurance approved at the 11th hour (it was denied at 4pm on Monday, but when I turned up for my appointment at 3pm on Tuesday they’d approved it.) So looking forward to seeing if that yields any more light into my ovulation dysfunction.

CS/Q: I’m not sure why I keep using Tempdrop (charting in FF)... I keep expecting that it will miraculously start to make sense but it just does the opposite. Will be returning it next month and just using my trusty premom bbt thermometer.

@asf0613 that is crazy that they can cut your pay by 50% and still expect FT work. I would be taking 2.5 days off each week if my pay was cut in half. My previous company cut their employer’s pay by 20% but they were compensated with a M-Th workweek. I would be out of there.

@asf0613 That doesnt sound like a tenable situation. How are they expecting you to work FT with only half pay? I hope you find some relief soon, and a new position. You can't keep going this way for sure. GL on your CD21 labs; I'm waiting for my results today too!

@priyadoc Ah, I see. I hope the HSG and SA go smoothly. We had the SA done, but not the HSG so far.

@acleverusername I started feeling a bit better yesterday, out of nowhere. The neggies are still lurking, but feeling better. No, I don't usually have these mood swings until the day before AF, so it's a little weird. I don't know if clomid would affect my mood this far out, or if it would shorten my LP at all?Its got me like

i feel a sense of responsibility being there for so long and being their "right hand," but over the past two weeks im starting to feel it less and less.  i definitely need to line something up first (and not only is this the wrong time, but i'm having trouble finding something that is the right pay that i qualify for) so it is such a challenge right now.  i feel like a mess!

@cleverusername i hope you get quick results! and yay for insurance coverage!

@BuckeyeNut05 yay for working out and not being sore! And for CH!

@fameonmain2 We're going hybrid as well. I'm trying to think of it as the middle ground options.

    @priyadoc Sorry about the BFN

@bbrahmbhatt fingers crossed the mood swings aren't for nothing!

@asf0613 I'm sorry work is so stressful and you are not getting what your deserve. Good luck with the job hunt!

@acleverusername glad the ultrasound got approved. Insurance companies are the worst sometimes.

    Month/Cycle: 4/3

    CD/DPO: 23/ ? 5?

Timing: ? Figuring we are out this cycle due to being benched. If I O'ed late we might have hit -1, but no CH because of my temps.

    Typical LP length: 12ish days

Testing: no plans unless AF is late

R/R: Work has been crazy the past few days. I am working on a big project and people are having meetings and conversations on the side about and not looping me in. Then things are getting changed without my knowledge and then I need to clean it up. Ugh!

    CS/Q: Temps are all over.

@priyadoc sorry for the BFN :(

@BuckeyeNut05 an implantation dip would be nice :) It’s so hard to get started, but once you get going it will be worth it. And easier!

@bbrahmbhatt hope those mood swings mean good news!

@asf0613 I’m really sorry about your work situation. It’s always a difficult decision to leave, even if it’s financially the right move.

@acleverusername Glad your ultrasound got approved. FX for some answers quickly!

@doubleup8 good luck with your project. I hate when that happens - so frustrating!!

@asf0613 this is a large weekend registration that I set up every year. This the first year the programs are all virtual and the set up is happening mostly throughv conversations and meetings. I think that is the disconnect.
