Hey everyone! So im currently 10 weeks 3 days and when I hit the end of my 9th week to begin my 10th, I started to notice that my breathing was a little laboured. Like I'm taking deeper breaths than normal. Especially when I lay on my back. Is this normal? It doesn't hurt to breath or anything, it's just I feel like I need to take in deeper breaths and it's harder to breathe normally. Has this happened to anyone else?

Not sure if it's quite what you are experiencing, but one of my very first symptoms has definitely been shortness of breath. Even long before I'm showing or carrying any extra weight, my body is already having to work harder to oxygenate everything, or so I suppose. 🤷 A quick Google search also tells me it's because hormones. 👍

It sounds pretty normal to me, but without knowing your history or any pre-existing conditions, I would always recommend you give your provider a call and see what they say. That's what they are there for!
