Hi there. My son has had a swollen lymph node, on the right side of his neck, for 7 months now. Its a cluster of lymph nodes, about a half inch in diameter, an inch and a half below the ear and more towards the back of head. They are harder to the touch and move pretty easily. One lymph node in the cluster really stands out, being twice the size of the others. He had reoccurring cradle cap around the time they appeared, then he had a head cold with slight fever in March. He has not been sick since and the cluster has been the same size since it swelled.
The doctor has checked the lymph node several times since and never seemed alarmed. We went to get a blood draw that was very unsuccessful and traumatizing for all involved.
We will be going to a different lab to get blood done but in the mean time I am curious if anyone has had a similar experience?
He eats well, not fatigued, sleeps well enough, weight and height are slightly above normal and always have been.
Thanks for any insight anyone can provide!
