@mindyb2019 mmmm I'm not sure what the total print time is. I know he made some of the smaller parts last weekend before his furlough. It's made up of a few parts that he then glued together. Everything that is a different color is a separate print. You'd need a higher end 3D printer for it to print in multiple colors per print job.

@Amphibious22 oops sorry 🤣 I think the cheapest 3D printers are $200+. Ours is $600 so it's not outrageously expensive if you've got some disposable income.

Hey foodies & crafters! This thread is usually off-limits to my non-creative self lol. But I have a question: Can anyone recommend a good milk frother tool? I drink cups upon cups of tea, but it’s starting to get boring. I have a delicious organic decaf chai I got online but I want a rich frothy milk to pour in it. And I’m only doing oat milk so not even sure how frothy it can get. Thanks in advance for any recommendations! Here’s the yummy tea:
@keikilove only once did I get a good froth from my oat milk. All others have resulted in barely any froth, but that was after using it post traveling with it in a cooler so I thought that could have been the culprit. Unless some brands are better than others for frothing?
It does steamed milk too.... which is essentially what I get with the oat milk even though I set it to airy foam.

@ashaislurking Definitely winning! I tried to make a couple of masks....it didn't go well. I also don't know how to use my sewing machine (and it might be broken? It's either broken or I don't know how to use it properly), so was trying to do it by hand. Looked like I had a diaper on my face at the end (it was a white tshirt fabric). After that I've just been ordering some from Etsy.

@jessiesar I personally laugh at the "second wave" people because we're not even through the first wave yet. Cases literally haven't slowed down in many parts of the country. I have a few basic masks and a couple custom ones. The one I posted above was the first one I made for myself and I'm really happy with it.

For the sewing-impaired, I've been happy with masks from Etsy. Lots of options, and with the filters you can try to find someone local. I do need to try to find some bigger ones, while they're plenty big for my round face, my husband's is longer so he struggles a bit.
Like the old joke says "the key to avoid second wave, is to make sure the first wave never ended" I'm planning to get something like Singer A friend of mine have one. She said this is perfect choice for sewing kids clothes and basic masks. Pretty easy to do with this machine, but a little bit expensive for me.
@jessiesar I have a Brother sewing machine and I love it. I haven't looked at comparing prices to a Singer because it was one of my grandmother's machines. When she moved to a new house she left like... 4 of them behind. I was lucky enough to snag one.
I heard about Brother machines. But still i think i will choose Singer. Currently I'm looking at 4411. Heard a lot about this machine. And price is good too.
