Bleeding during pregnancy. (Positive story)

I decided to make this account just to share my story. 

I want to urge many of you to limit how much you read on the internet although I know this is so difficult as I am guilty of it too. That is why I felt the need to share more positive story about bleeding during pregnancy.

Week 5 I began spotting, then bleeding, then a full on period bleed. Staying positive was very trying and going on the internet did not help my anxiety.

The thing that was most unsettling? My OB couldn’t find a heartbeat at this time. Seems like a recipe for disaster right?

This is now week 6 and I just came back from the hospital due to not getting enough fluids and not being able to keep anything down. They did an ultrasound and BOOM there’s my baby’s strong heartbeat just beating away. They showed me where the bleed was coming from which was away from baby so no harm to the baby at all. These things sometimes just happen for many reasons.

Moral of the story? Try to stay positive in these trying times and limit what you read on the internet. What the baby needs more than anything right now is a healthy mom with a sound mind. Keep faith in God.
