R/R: someone must have worked some sorcery because that 0 timing yesterday was not initiated by me 😆. I'm happy that much of the next week should feel like it flies by being off today and tomorrow, then I have an all day event Monday & Tuesday, and finally pick upy new car Wednesday afternoon! Oh wait, I should be excited too that half of the TWW will go by in that time as well ha.

I'm also trying to do some more podcast listening while I work, getting caught back up on Crime Junkie! I caught up on Fab Fertility this week while I made dinners, I love the Friday episodes! Otherwise, just chugging along over here trying very hard NOT to SS, which is difficult when MH is asking every day if I feel anything. I told him a straight-up no this morning and his response was well, it's still early. I honestly don't think I'm feeling one way or another, and I wouldn't be surprised if I need to undergo more testing next cycle.

@inthewoods23 niiiiicce to the timing  What kind of car are you getting? Sorry if you already shared that, I don't lurk WTO everyday.
@mvt2003 start asking YH if he feels anything!  I hope you don't have to undergo more testing! FX for you!

R/R: I had a giant Whole30 smoothie bowl for breakfast which I ate on the deck and it was fantastic. My mom and her wife are coming for the weekend tomorrow so I need to get some cleaning done today between meetings. MH is off of work so he has been getting a lot done around the house but it's usually stuff he enjoys doing, not the chores that actually need to get done. 

CS/Q: FF gave me CH for CD 12 but I had been going off of CD 13 based on Premom but I think Premom just uses the day after your LH peak but CD 12 lines up almost exactly to previous cycles with the slight rise then a dip before the actual rise.

@krash_ Tesla Model Y 🙂 we'll be a fully EV family in a week! DH has the Model 3. The one plus to having to wait forever for them to actually start building and releasing the car is that I had bi-weekly transfers into my savings to stockpile a good sized down payment. DH waiting 883 days for his, and I'll be at... Like 500 some days?

It's like, waiting is the name of our game. We dated for 9 years before getting married, were engaged for a year and a half, going on 3+ years TTC *sigh*. Waiting is so typical.

@inthewoods23 nice to see you here and hooray for that last-minute-shag! And that temp bump looks so satisfying. 
@mvt2003 I definitely agree with @krash_ about asking YH how he feels. 🤣 Joking aside though, it sounds like you've got a very supporting partner and one who is 100% in this with you. FX this is your cycle and no more testing needed!
@krash_ what do you put in your smoothie bowl? It's day 4 of Whole30 for me and so far I miss snacking and dairy. Hopefully you can get some cleaning breaks in today before your family visits.

Testing: Proov 7-10DPO and I decided to get a progesterone blood test this Saturday (technically 6DPO) to see if my attempts at increasing progesterone naturally have worked (seed-cycling and melatonin). Also HPT on 7/21 >> day of my 1st RE appointment. 

R/R: my boobs have been super tender from pre-O. Not sure what's up, but it's annoying. 

Have an appointment with a new OB today; this one is certified in NaPro. From what I've gathered, she'll be more inclined to run diagnostic testing to try and find root cause of our lack of success. I.e. checking for insulin resistance, u/s to check for ovulation, HSG, etc. This is all based on others' experience with NaPro OBs. I'm hopeful! I definitely want to check my tubes and understand if I'm actually O'ing instead of going straight into treatment and these services should be insurance-covered when ordered by an OB as they bill it under different codes than infertility (which my insurance absolutely doesn't cover). 

CS/Q: too lazy to post today; a 0.13 degree dip from yesterday.

@acleverusername I feel silly asking, but what is NaPro?

@acleverusername first, I made this granola last night, excluding the honey and vanilla extract and used raisins instead of cranberries because I couldn't find cranberries without sugar. Then this morning I blended frozen banana, frozen pineapple (with the core, hello TTC), frozen mixed berries, frozen spinach and water. I like a lot of frozen stuff and just a little water so it's thick enough to eat with a spoon. Then topped that with the granola, some fresh berries and coconut milk.

I hope the NaPro OB is more supportive. I see a bunch of ladies on the Proov group talk about NaPro and I only found two in the Twin Cities and nothing on their info says they are NaPro so I'm not sure what to look for. So far my regular OB has been really supportive of initial testing and their billing person also said that the initial tests will be diagnostic and not necessarily billed as infertility because I don't have an infertility diagnosis yet.

@inthewoods23 glad you asked! LOL. The best summary I could provide you is it's "faith-friendly" way of treating infertility. NaPros advocate figuring out the root cause before throwing meds at the situation. I found this fairly neutral flyer that describes it in detail. They bill services under "menstrual dysfunction" umbrella, and not "infertility" umbrella, hence more likely to be insurance-covered.

@mvt2003 it's so hard not to SS! Especially in this time of "are you feeling any different?" being such a loaded question.

@krash_ good luck with the cleaning! DH is the same way, he'll randomly reorganize parts of our house but I'd be shocked if I ever saw him vacuuming or cleaning a toilet

R/R: I had my FW appointment today and my HCG levels are back to 0, so yay! My dr. also did bloodwork to check my thyroid levels and to check for some disorder with a really long name (maybe a blood clotting disorder?). She said if I have it, there's a way to fix it to prevent future losses so I kinda hope I have it so I can get it fixed and feel confident moving forward. I've been meeting with a different dr. since the last loss (there are several OBs who rotate) and I'm really happy with how proactive she's been.

@acleverusername ok, so it's what I thought it was. My cousin's wife had mentioned it in a FB post a long time ago but I feel like it talked about it being like... An alternative to IVF or something. But like you're saying, it's more finding the issues than an actual treatment.

@mamasloth glad things are on the up and up for you! It kinda sucks to actually hope for a "here's your problem and here's the simple solution". If only everything were that easy!

@inthewoods23 I suppose you can interpret it anyway you want, including "alternative to IVF" which some ppl do. I think there's probably a lot of people who choose NaPro because they're morally opposed to IVF. I do think that what it offers is a lot more diagnostics into figuring out the root cause. For example, right now, I don't know if my tubes are blocked, or maybe I have LUFs, which is preventing pregnancy. My OB won't run any tests to check for these things; they fall under the "infertility treatment" bucket and should be done through an RE. But I think I'll be able to get those tested with a NaPro practitioner.

I know @inthewoods23 is eagerly awaiting my Tree Update of the Day, just like her new car!  

This company seemed reputable and the guy gave us a decent estimate, we're going to get the official quote and get moving on it. He mentioned if there's a cancellation we might be able to get on the schedule for Saturday!

@krash_ I am definitely going to start asking him if he feels anything haha!!! Props on Whole30! That's a ton of work!!

@mamasloth I'm so glad you're back to 0! Are they checking you for the MTHFR gene by any chance?

@acleverusername@mvt2003 I honestly can't remember what she said, but I'll see the test results on the portal soon (hopefully) so I'll know then! She even said "you've probably never heard of this" 

@inthewoods23 I keep waffling between wanting there to be something wrong so they can fix it and wanting it to be just bad luck. I wish there was a way to just know that everything's going to work out for us!
