Bikini waxing first trimester

Hi ladies I have a bit of a personal question. I am currently 11 weeks and 2 days along and I went and got my routine bikini wax (sugaring to be precise) yesterday. I noticed my beauty therapist pressing a little bit harder on on side of my abdomen to get the hair out as it was a bit tougher than usual and I have been having some cramping on the left side which has been worrying me. Has this experience happened to anyone before? My midwife told me it was totally safe to get a wax but the one sided cramping is giving me some anxiety today.. thank you in advance for your feedback

Unless she caused you injury, the baby is fine. Things are well protected in there at this point.
