How are you staying active?
I personally workout 5 to 6 days a week--
Some of my favorite exercise/workouts:
- Spinning
- HIIT
- Yoga
- Step aerobics
- Pilates
- Walking
- Weight training
- Barre
I'm 17 weeks + 4 days and I work out about a total of 6 to 7 hours per week with a decent balance between cardio and weights. I am always looking for new things to try and I'm curious as to what others are doing and enjoy.

Re: Exercise during pregnancy
Before pregnancy, I was crazy active - running, weight lifting, climbing, and playing Australian Rules Football. Obviously the last two are out of the equation now but I’m still trying to run at least a couple miles 2-3 times/week and do strength training or yoga a few times a week as well. It’s all stuff I can do from home, using resistance bands and body weight exercises.
I was just running and got really sore in my uterus area and had to stop. I’m wondering if it’s from things bouncing around now that I’m getting bigger. Has anyone else experienced that? It stopped when I stopped running and feels fine now.
