Upcoming Appointments: A/S next week. Still no indication if husband will be able to join.
Rant/Rave: I have a week of vacation this week! It's a staycation. I've already made my to-do list of house projects, catching up on letters and postcards, reading, relaxing, and maybe either getting out to the lakefront or a botanical garden. All the fun museum visiting, cafe and brewery hopping, and exploring new neighborhoods I usually do will be held off this time due to COVID.
Questions? Anyone have a reliable list of new parent + baby stuff they can point to? Especially one that is geared to urban or small space dwellers. Now that we've settled into the new condo, we're getting to the point of 'maybe we should make decisions about baby things'
GTKY: What kind of music do you listen to? What's been on repeat for you lately? My mainstay is indie alternative/pop/rock. Turn on the Jukebox the Ghost radio station in Spotify or Pandora and that mix is my jam. My car radio jumps between a 80s-2K station and a throwback hip hop station. The rest of my listening is eclectic (but not country). I'm usually 6 months-1 year behind on top 40 music so I'm still rocking Lizzo this summer.
Estimated due date (EDD): 11/23 (or 11/20 if you go by what my OB is saying lately)
Week of pregnancy: 20!!!!!
Baby is the size of: banana
Upcoming Appointments: 7/20 for fetal echo
Rant/Rave: I wish I was feeling this little guy more. Still waiting for his movements to become more consistent.
Questions? Nope.
GTKY: What kind of music do you listen to? What's been on repeat for you lately? Oh boy, I have a realllllly wide range of things I like, but lately with my two being home all the time, it's allllllll Kidz Bop or Disney songs. Oy.
Rant/Rave: I have court this week with my ex, so I’m doing my best to keep my nerves down as the week goes on. It’s been a pretty high stress pregnancy and I’m worried about it affecting the baby. BUT on the brightside my BP is always good when I go for apts! And baby is starting to move consistently at night and right when I wake up, I love feeling the little flutters☺️
Questions? Not this week!
GTKY: What kind of music do you listen to? What's been on repeat for you lately? I listen to a little bit of everything! Recently I’ve been listening to a lot of indie music and AJR.
@bserena thank you! I think I’d be more comfortable is anyone could come with, but bc of COVID I have to go alone haha. But it’ll be ok, looking forward to my AS next week!
Upcoming Appointments: AS & midwife appointment on Wednesday! 🙌🏻 I am SO excited to see our little babe and find out the gender, but also so anxious 🙏🏻
Rant: I’m getting tired of people asking if we want a boy or girl. I can’t wait to find out the gender so I no longer need to politely answer that question that I find so strange/annoying 🙃 This FTM just wants a healthy baby!
Questions? None
GTKY: What kind of music do you listen to? What's been on repeat for you lately? I mostly listen to pop and country. I’m loving the playlist “Mood Booster” on Spotify right now. It’s a pick-me-up playlist full of current feel-good songs!
Baby is the size of: sweet potato or a beanie baby!
Upcoming Appointments: WEDNESDAY! AS here we come! This is the first time we're going to find out the sex early and I'm so excited!
Rant/Rave: Rave: We had a nice weekend at my parents cabin and I got to see my bff after like 4 months! Rant: It was way too hot and I got sunburn. Also, I am so sore and so exhausted!
Questions? So if they aren't sure about the sex but everything else looks good, do they have you come back or do you just go with a maybe boy/girl?
GTKY: What kind of music do you listen to? What's been on repeat for you lately? I mostly listen to country but also some rock/oldies (thanks DH). I'm also a super nerd so sometimes I like to listen to movie or Broadway show soundtracks.
Upcoming Appointments: AS on Wednesday. So excited to see baby!
Rant/Rave: I love feeling the consistent movement. And not so much a rant as a constant sense of anxiety for our school board meeting tomorrow to propose a plan for reopening schools. I know so much can change within the next month but I’m super nervous to put my pregnant self in a school with hundreds of kids every day with the virus raging in our state.
Questions? Nothing at the moment
GTKY: What kind of music do you listen to? What's been on repeat for you lately? I listen to lots of genres. I love musicals and listen to a lot of them, I love jazz, Irish music, classic rock. Some of my favorite artists are Harry Connick Jr, The Beatles, Enya, the Eagles. I also love some pop artists like Taylor Swift, Lana del Rey, and Adele!
Upcoming Appointments: Monthly on Thursday and AS on Friday! I can't wait to see this baby!!!!
Rant/Rave: Eh nothing really this week other than it is Its hot asf here!
Questions? None that I can think of.
GTKY: What kind of music do you listen to? What's been on repeat for you lately? I listen to basically everything (expect today's country). 90s Hip Hop, Classsic Rock, 90s Alternative, Oldies, 80s - 90s pop. Modest Mouse is one of my absolute favorites. I definitely do not listen to today's music to often though. Lately I have been bouncing between Local Natives and The Avett Brothers stations on Pandora
@acdc1109 The tech had to do a lot of jiggling around and had me get up and walk around so she could be sure DD1 was a girl. I think if they know you're using the a/s to determine gender, they'll do their best to figure it out for sure! Good luck!
Upcoming Appointments: AS TOMORROW AM!!!! (excited & anxious all at once)
Rant/Rave: Rant: It's soooo hot and I'm so flippin' tired today. Coffee has not been my friend so I'm debating grabbing a Mt Dew from the soda machine at work... only reason I haven't yet is because I fear the twins will bounce out of my belly at that amount of sugar and caffeine Rave: We're getting our minivan in the next few weeks!!!! I'm SO EXCITED! #teamminivan
Questions? nada
GTKY: What kind of music do you listen to? What's been on repeat for you lately? I listen to a little bit of everything usually. I've been rocking out to Panic! At the Disco radio on I Radio lately.

@lurvleybunchococonuts +1 to #teamminivan! We just bought my grandma's van (she isn't driving anymore and it was a good deal when we needed it!). It's a 2006 Chrysler town and country. I'm loving the sliding doors and stow 'n go seats! (yeah, so not sure how to spell that). What are you getting?
@acdc1109 I put my mom's H on finding me a good minivan duty (he was VERY pleased to be assigned this task). They'll be driving it out to us in a few weeks (they live in NJ we're in WI). But it's a 2010 Honda Odyssey exl 🙌 I'm super excited for it! I don't think it has stow n go seating but the middle seating is super customizable. Apparently you can have the full middle bench, or remove the middle section to have 2 captain chairs, or push the two together and have a shorter bench or removed the middle and a captain seat and have 1 seat and the back row. Plus dvd player! DD might tolerate car rides longer than 20 mins if I can distract her with Moana or something.
That's aweaome that you're getting your gma's van! The idea of sliding doors is 😍 no more yelling at SD to not ding the car next to us with the car door!!!

@lalarose22 YES! I slept like crap and OMG I have to pee! Literally in the waiting room for AS now 😍😄 I'm so excited to see the twins and for MH to FINALLY get to see them!

@lalarose22 mine is in a couple hours! And I woke up the worst headache. Hoping I can power through. Good luck with yours! And yours too @lurvleybunchococonuts!
UPDATE! Had my AS this morning at 9 and we found out baby is a BOY! I honestly thought I would be at least a little sad but I'm not at all and so excited to have 3 boys!
So I'll have to post pics tmrw cause like a dumb dumb I left them at work 🤦🏻
AS for baby A (space hog) went really well. She's measuring right on track, everything looks good.
Baby B (hidey babe) we're a little concerned. She's measuring about a week behind A, we couldn't get all her measurements one because she was smaller and two because she was in an awkward position and wouldn't cooperate. And most worrisome it appears that she has a 2 vessel cord vs 3. Sooo... OB is referring me to MFM. Hopefully it'll just mean keeping a closer eye on her, but definitely will need to reconsider what hospital I plan to deliver at now though. Trying not to google or worry until after I have the appt with MFM. Thankfully at least a 2 vessel cord is super common but the big concern is her growth.
Bright side both babes were super active and already poking at one another 🤣 silly little stinkers ❤

YAY! MFM called today (My OB said it could be up to a week for them to get back to me) and we have our initial appt scheduled for Tuesday, July 21st. MH is allowed to come with me (thank the Lord) and I don't have to drink 80million gallons of fluid ahead of time or anything

Had court today. Unfortunately my ex and his lawyer neglected to show up, and there were a lot of missing documents (on the court’s side). So all in all, kind of a shit show! But at least today’s over with, don’t know when the next court date will be. Thank you ladies for your well wishes!
@1sttimemomma98 ugh what a pain!!! Sorry to hear it was such a mess. I hope it didn't mess anything up for you! Maybe you will be able to bring someone for support by the time your next court date comes.
