Possibly pregnant on Nexplanon

Hello, I have started to experience pregnancy symptoms. I have a 4 year old son and I have miscarried 3 times after him. After the 3rd miscarriage I decided to get on the Nexplanon to take a break almost 2 years ago. Recently I started to experience pregnancy symptoms but thought it was impossible to get pregnant t on the Nexplanon. I had spotting once 6 days ago, I have nausea, extremely sore breasts and fatigue. I decided to take two first response tests and I got two faint positives. Does anyone have experience getting pregnant on Nexplanon? I’m just feeling a little scared

Re: Possibly pregnant on Nexplanon

  • 1st of all it is against the TOU to post pee sticks, except on the sticky at the top of the page.

Second of all, it's possible to get pregnant on birth control. Nothing, except abstinence is 100% effective.

I will answer that looks like a complete negative.

Get a test that says pregnant/not pregnant

If concerned call your doctor, they are your best help.

If you got a positive pregnancy test, then you should be calling your medical providers or wherever you would want to receive prenatal care and schedule an appointment. You have a higher risk of an ectopic if you get pregnant while using an implant.

Anyone else's experience does not affect what's actually going on in your uterus right now. Please get an appointment.
