I'm pretty much symptom free! I may have some mild round ligament pain from time to time. I've been having some heartburns since this morning, I hope it's just a today thing and not a June symptom...
@mimser I am right there with you, not many symptoms at all besides some RLP here and there. Had a bit of heartburn last week and I am so glad it went away, hoping it doesn't come back!
So, I haven't thrown up in almost a month and yesterday and today I puked up my lunch. Anyone else having this weird resurgence? I thought this was over with!
@reirei84 I’ve had nausea pop back up every once in a while. I thought it was gone.
My main symptom right now is headaches! They are gnarly and I can’t get rid of them to save my life. Lots of RLP and already getting some lower back pain. I am feeling TONS of movement though, which makes up for it! My DD was even able to feel today, she was so excited!
I'm with you all on the less symptoms and more baby flutters. I feel really lucky that all of this Covid stuff is happening on my second pregnancy and not the first. With the first it would have just killed me not having the in person 16 week appointment and getting to hear the heartbeat. This time around I feel much more confident in identifying baby flutters and just skipped the phone appointment altogether. Didn't have any questions and without the heartbeat thing...eh.
@laurenmicheley YES!!! I go to the bathroom before I lay down to go to bed and usually get back up to use the bathroom before I fall asleep, and then again in the middle of the night. This has been going on since about 6 weeks! I didn’t have this with DD until late in the third Tri. I think she weakened by bladder. And I’ve already came close to Snissing (sneezing and peeing a little) 😒
@potofgolden It's crazy! Sometimes I pee and by the time I've washed and dried my hands I have to pee again. This will be my first baby (3rd pregnancy) so no reason why this is happening so early (18 weeks).
@laurenmicheley@potofgolden SAME! I was wondering this morning if it was still normal to be peeing this much.. glad I’m not alone!! Also with the warmer weather I’ve been trying to drink more water, so that makes it even worse 😅
I had two "situations" though until a few days ago which I've mentioned to a perineal physiotherapist and she had solutions that fixed it for me. I don't know if it could help any of you.
Getting a bit TMI... What would happen in the morning mostly is that I would have to pee, go to the bathroom and pee, but the flow would be quite light. And then I would get up, and after I was done washing my hands, I would have to pee again. Then I would get a normal heavy pee flow. The physio told me that it's probably my perineum that is a bit tensed ai I should relax it. So basically, I now focus on relaxing my pelvic floor as I go and take some deep breaths and it stopped happening.
The 2nd thing that was happening was that I would go pee, wipe, stand up and need to wipe again almost right away ... She said that with everything moving in there, maybe my bladder tilted a little. So she has me "dance" 😅 a little on the toilet before I wipe: a few pelvic tilts, front, back, left right. And that has fixed it too!
I've started feeling the baby move when I lay on my back 🙌 there's seriously nothing better then feeling your baby move.
+1 to headaches and peeing a lot. I've surprisingly not had any pee accidents. I had a 3rd degree tear with DS and they were convinced I would need to see a pelvic floor specialist to do physical therapy to regain control of my bladder. Luckily I've never had issues (and avoided doing any PT- apparently I have a vagina made of steel). Anyways. I'm worried that as baby grows and puts more pressure on my bladder that my luck might run out 😬
This is by far the weirdest symptom I have ever heard of buuut My hands smell like garlic!!! I looked it up because I haven't eaten any garlic recently and apparently its a thing. It is driving me bananas! It isn't every day thank God and there doesn't seem to be any rhyme or reason to when it happens. Thanks hormones!
I got up twice to pee last night and at one time I was freezing cold, shivering, had to get under the covers ASAP. It was probably 70 degrees in my house, so not cold at all. It felt like I had a fever. I remember this happening soon after I had my son, but never during pregnancy. Hormones maybe?
Has anyone experienced SPD/pelvic girdle pain? I was just cleaning and went to step over a fan I was using to dry the floor and got these like shooting pains through like my uterus (in the middle and very low). I walked to the bed and each step and then when I sat down I got the pains more. When looking it up, it seems that it is most likely SPD but im not sure. Any one have any experience with it?
@bserena I do! I had it some last pregnancy (it was super painful to stand on one leg to put on pants, for instance), and have felt some twinges already this pregnancy too. I've been working on it lately in my MommaStrong workouts! Mostly working to strengthen the glutes.

I feel amazing!! I do get tired often and need to rest between doing things, and boobs are sore but I’ll take it! Baby is moving all around so I know I’m still pregnant!

@bserena It's hard to tell, because the pelvic girdle pain has just started so I'm not sure if it would be worse if I wasn't working out? The instructor talks about it pretty often during the Momma-to-be workouts. In general I find that those workouts have definitely helped improve my overall stability, strength and posture (I've been doing them for almost a year, but have been showing up for a Daily15 basically everyday for the past 3+ months). In particular my lower back pain (toddler induced) has reduced significantly.

I’m feeling good this month so far! Symptoms include lower back aches if I stand for way too long (blaming my accentuated lordosis), sore nipples, leaking cholostrom (sp?), and feeling baby flutters!!! I’m still missing out on that telltale bump though - just feeling plump. After one of my runs last week, I had some pubic symphysis pain but that went away with adductor/abductor exercises

@mimser Me too! My hips were killing me and I had pain shooting down my leg. I was one my feet a ton this weekend chasing DS around so i think that contributed to it. It does feel better today.
My feet have been swelling slightly. It was so bad when I was pregnant with DS that I couldn't wear anything but flip flops after like 20 weeks.
@warmwinter We are in the process of moving and have been running a lot of errands, cleaning the new house, packing and bringing stuff over. I suppose that's what caused it for me then
I'm doing pretty good these days. I lost about 18 pounds so far, but I've put about 2 back on -- so hopefully we are on the rise. Happy to mostly be done with the nausea and vomiting, it happens still but far less frequently and I'm actually *wanting* to eat at this point.
The sciatic nerve pain is killing me. I'm making an appointment with the chiropractor today because it's miserable, I can't take it anymore.
I also, CANNOT POOP and spend most of my days at work going pee. SO likes to ask "dang babe, you don't have to pee yet?" If I go longer than 20 minutes between bathroom trips. Even the US tech at my last appointment called me to pee before we did the US and she checked my bladder to make sure it was empty and we couldn't get an angle of the baby we needed so like 10 minutes in she checked my bladder and was like "dang it's already full again, go pee!" so I went and had to pee 2 more times before I left the appointment. It's annoying, but at least I'm hydrated? So @laurenmicheley and @potofgolden yes, I can't stop peeing LOL.
And also, if I lay flat on my back I can feel baby girl moving. I can't wait for the kids and SO to feel her. Our other girls are so so so excited, WAY more excited than I thought they'd be. SD (9) is so sweet, she kisses my belly all the time and is just so excited to tell everyone about the baby in my belly (I'll post a picture she drew when I go mobile). And she'll say things like "Whatever ms. Em wants for dinner is what we should eat!" or "Ms. Em is my baby sister making your back hurt? Do you want me to rub your back?" and it's the sweetest thing. I didn't think she'd be nearly as excited as she is! She asked if she could look up youtube videos on how to be a big sister and she's always asking questions and following it up with "I'm just worried I won't be a good big sister" and THE PREGNANCY HORMONES AND THE SWEETNESS ARE KILLING ME!
@Ecat504 this is adorable. Have you tried colace, Metamucil crackers, or prune juice for your bowels? With DD I started having to eat the crackers daily. Don’t let it get to the enema stage 🙈. @bserena could the SPD you think you are having be round ligament pain? I wonder if what I’m having is really round ligament pain, or something else. Last night it felt like someone threw a javelin into my uterus. It only lasted a couple of seconds, but it startled me.. I screamed out. I thought my 15 mo old threw something at me.
@potofgolden I've tried it all, TMI - but I'm already an infrequent poop-er, I go like once every 5-7 days. But now I'm working towards every 9 days or so
also, golden I thought I was having RLP a few weeks ago until I was in a ball crying my eyes out and SO called the dr because I was in so much pain, turns out a giant cyst on my ovary was leaking. So fun....
My lower back pain has really gotten bad the last couple of days. Has anyone ever tried one of those maternity belt things/do they actually help? I spend a lot of my day on my feet at work and I want to try to stay ahead of this.
My bump has been really popping the last couple of days! Although when I saw my coworkers today they all kept saying “where’s your bump?” 😒 I told my aid to get used to the fact that I have to pee every 15-20 min, lol. Baby girl has started to kick my bladder! I had forgotten that unique/painful sensation, lol.
@kitkaz1990 also curious about the belly / back band. I keep thinking about getting one, but I don't know. This is more than likely the last baby, so I feel like I should just power through!
Has anyone experienced sharp pains on their right side by their rib cage that last for a minute or so, then go away? I’ve had this twice now. Not sure if things are stretching out that far up?
@lalarose22 I had that a but earlier on, maybe around 12 weeks ? It definitely felt like stretching. I have a short torso so my bump already starts from just below my boobs.
