I'll start:  I hope states stay on/go back on extreme lockdown for at least another 2 months and make more severe penalties for violating.

@kboydbowman, totally agree with you on that one even though I’m in England. I’m glad they seem to be taking it more seriously here. We are on lockdown at least until June and restaurants won’t open until July at the earliest. 

Also milkshakes are gross. Smoothies are way better.

I’ll be the dissenter on the lockdown issue! I am not a fan of my governor, but overall I approve of how he’s handled the entire coronavirus situation. The phased-approach reopening we’ve begun doesn’t list specific dates which allows for flexibility. Personally, I’ll be staying home for awhile still, but I definitely feel myself getting restless, as is everyone else I know. I am terrified by what other states are doing though, so if I lived in one of those, I would feel very differently.

I’m ready for WA to open hair salons back up.  I look rough and desperately need my hair colored and cut frankly.   I had an appointment the day I found out I was pregnant for both and just figured I’d wait until second trimester to get my hair colored. Whelp here we are.  I have 3 inch roots with tons of gray 😂.  

Also a taco pizza from Taco Bell every once in a blue moon is amazing!  

There is a new Chic Filet A opening today one exit away from my house.   I’m beyond thrilled about that!  And my toddler will be too!  She loves their nuggets and asks for them anytime we get take out.  This will make the second one to open in our area but is much closer than the other one.  

Oh I wish the state would also open back up for things like direct family get togethers.  I really want to have my husbands brother and his family over this weekend but nobody wants to break the social distancing rule but me 😩.

It’s really popular in my local mom’s group because a lot of people make it. The jewelry in itself is pretty but I just think it’s weird to make jewelry with breastmilk.

Definitely +1 for phasing opening up-- allow people to make the decision on whether or not and how they want to start integrating back into society. I'll be visiting family, but I still won't be going into public places unless absolutely unavoidable.

I think Chick Fil A is a trash company and I try to avoid it at all costs, but damn their nuggets are good.

Breastfeeding was a huge feat with DD2 because she has a g-tube meaning I had to pump exclusively and it was hell. I considered getting a piece of breast milk jewelry but wasn’t completely in love with the idea so I didn’t. Long story short I don’t dislike it, and see where it can be nice for some moms to remember their BFing journey.

I generally think Chik-Fil-A’s food is ridiculously overrated... but every once in a while I feel the need for their waffle fries and BBQ sauce.

I've never had chik however you spell it because they make me feel icky. We don't have many around here but it seems they keep popping up. DH wants to try it so we probably will one day, but he read me the menu and I was like, "wtf is all the fuss about this crap?" Lol.

Our state is starting to open in phases, but I think 5 counties including mine have not started yet. My county is going to apply soon I think. But I'm not going anywhere. I won't eat in a restaurant for at least a few more months. I'm thankful to be low maintenance and get my hair cut like once a year and not dye it (I'm letting the grays come in) though when I did dye my hair, it was at home. Though I am pretty desperate to either send DD back to daycare her 2 days a week or have my mom come back her 2 days a week. Or both!

@MJDsquared I’m desperate to send my DD back to daycare as well but they won’t take her back because I’m not mission essential to the base I’m stationed at.  She’s desperately in need of some play time with other kids.   She’s been stuck with me at home since the beginning of March.

Okay here’s a good one.   I noticed September moved to a private group here on the app.  As we move farther along issues may arise for some of us.  Any thoughts on moving to a private group within the app so that if someone’s really needing support they can speak in a private space without all the rando’s that seem to read and offer their .02 but aren’t contributing members of the group.   Plus we can post photos of our nurseries and other stuff along those lines within a private space.  Thoughts?

@anitamargarita_82, I’m not against a private group but I would rather move to Facebook than a private group on here. It’s so temperamental at times and Facebook is much easier

@profmcgonagall I'm not comfortable with moving to Facebook yet. Especially after yesterday, I'm not okay with people having my personal info yet. I have nothing against moving to a private group here, but if the Facebook move comes too soon, I'd probably have to bow out. ☹️

I'm for moving to a private group, especially since TB did away with the mandatory 3-day waiting period for new sign-ups, and so we've seen an influx in spambot posts (not so much on the BMBs, but definitely in the main pages). It's also a reason I'm sketchy about sharing LO's name publicly instead of in a spoiler, and why I don't post my face in the HDBD threads.

I would prefer a private group over Facebook for now. In part, because about once a week I consider deactivating my Facebook (didn’t know I was friends with so many OUTRAGEOUSLY selfish people until coronavirus!) and I don’t want to miss out on the group. 😁 But also because of @carrotsandpeas3 and @babyodo’s points about Facebook being less anonymous. I’ve noticed most people aren’t posting their face in the group yet, which tells me we aren’t quite ready for that level of... intimacy (for lack of a better word). ETA: though I admit, The Bump app/site is more than frustrating, quite frequently.

I wouldn't move to FB until at least third tri. I'm good with a private group at some point before then. I don't ever post my face or name etc on here, so I'm not sure I would in a private group? I don't know. But I do agree that FB is easier so if we decide to move over and don't let randos in I'm down (again, months down the road). I'm in an FB group with my last BMB and it's great.

I’m also in a Facebook group with my last BMB and love it!

I’m down with a private group, but also not ready for FB. We didn’t move to FB with my other kids until after the babies were born.

I am contesting the UOs today 😂 I agree about most direct sales, like the common ones, but not all are bad. I joined one for something to do a few years ago and make more money doing that than my full time nursing job paid me. HOWEVER, the company I’m with is very against spam messaging and hey girl BS. I never would’ve lasted if that stuff flew.

I would just feel better sharing more details or medical issues in a more private setting.   There is a small group of us who regularly participate anyway.  Plus I just know weirdos read the boards and us discussing sex or lack there of and why is prime stuff for sickos out there.  We had a thread along the same lines in my last bmb but it was much more graphic and someone actually posted they were only there to read about our sex posts for “funsies”.

I'm in the waiting until 3rd tri or after babies are born camp, if we are going to move to FB. I won't share anything more in a private group on TB than I'd share here anyway.

I dislike fast food restaurants. I remember when people at my work were excited about Freddy’s opening up and I couldn’t understand why people would care about something like that. I will eat at chipotle, so maybe that’s considered fast food, but being mainly vegetarian other restaurants just have nothing good to offer and I can’t comprehend eating the meat from a place like that. 

I also hate MLM companies, I’ve had to stop following friends who participate in those because their promoting is so annoying! Back before I had my son and I was a competitive ultra runner, I thought about trying to get some sponsorships for shoes and nutrition products, but I couldn’t imagine myself promoting brands on my Instagram  all the time. I decided I’d rather just pay full price for the things I needed. 

As far as opening things, I am for doing it slowly and being cautious. People around here are complaining that there won’t be a 4th of July celebration and talking about how our freedoms are being taken advantage of. I just hate all the whining and complaining people are doing because their life/fun is being impacted. Get over it! My husband co directs a 50/100 mile race and they will be cancelling the race. This race brings in some extra income for us, but it’s not worth the impact that it could have on the community or people involved. We could throw a pity party about it or just move on and hope that things get better.

Agreed with their being creeps on a public site and is why I don't post many details and don't show my face. We had a catfish in my previous bmb. She (or he?) didn't make it to our Facebook group.

I guess maybe I’m the UO on the breast milk jewelry. I had a super rough three months breastfeeding DD. We didn’t figure out that she was allergic to my milk and finally had to give up on it. I got a nice necklace to remind myself of that struggle and remind myself that I didn’t give up on it because I was a quitter. It was a really rough thing to come to terms with and I was suffering from PPD. I wear it now and it makes me feel great about myself because despite all her tears and gastrointestinal issues I did try my hardest. I don’t think I really tell anyone what it is unless they ask. 

@carrotsandpeas3 How did you figure out it was a catfish? That’s a little terrifying.

@babycakesday someone created a new bump account and came in and said they were a catfish and were one of "the regulars." They listed some things about the group they would only have known if they did a pretty thorough deep dive or were following along the whole time. We still don't know for sure if it was real or just someone stirring the pot, but we were pretty selective about who we invited to our FB group. 😳

@carrotsandpeas3  Am I the only person who thinks these people obviously have way too much time on their hands?? I mean I have a hard enough time remembering to check in once a day on here. I can’t imagine just being so bored that I think about doing something so shady. Ugh. Glad you figured it out at least.

We had one that made it to FB who ultimately scammed the group.  People sent her money and gift cards but through internet detective work the group uncovered she used the money she was sent for lularoe and some other crap and just told a bunch of lies.  There is a thread in my old bmb.  PM me and I’ll tell you where to look if you want to read it.   

Edited to add we didn’t do anything private or move to FB until the first baby was born.
