I lost my mucus plug 3 days ago... Still waiting on baby to make appearance. Have a lot of Braxton Hicks, pelvic pain, recently had loose stools (TMI) How long after you lost mucus plug did you go before delivering?
By the sounds of it, you could be already having had your baby by now (if so, congrats!). Sorry, but as a FTM, I can't speak from experience, but have read the mucus plug can go a week or two before labor begins...or not until active labor. The rest of your symptoms sound like pre-labor, which I think I am also starting to experience, so will be watching for anyone else's replies for good input, too!
I have a question, though, how noticeable are your Braxton-Hick's contractions? At my appointment last week, my NST monitoring showed regular little contractions, but I didn't feel a thing. I'm about 39 weeks right now and petite to begin with, so my belly is super huge and tight on me since week 24. There's been times in the last couple days though where I felt an uncomfortable feeling across the whole belly and it maybe seemed tighter??? Honestly, though, it wasn't nearly as uncomfortable as the feeling when baby does a big move, which he does a lot! Friends that I've asked say, "oh, you'll know when it's real contractions!", which I don't doubt, but it's hard to tell if I'm having any contractions or time them, which is a little more important for me since I am Group B Strep positive and still working a full time job. I'd like to have some hints that the time is coming soon. Otherwise, I haven't lost the mucus plug that I am aware of, nor anything else really for signs, despite the monitor showing some contractions. At 39 weeks, I'm feeling pretty ready to get this show on the road!
Hopefully there are still some others in the May 2020 group who haven't had their babies yet and can offer some insight for us who are not-so-patiently waiting our time. Good luck to you!!
