I have had my first ultrasound at 5W6D and the nurse mentioned that fetal rate is 98BPM. Is it normal ? Is there anything that can be done to increase the fetal rate?

If there was an issue they would have addressed it to you. Yes, you can increase the heartbeat by not stressing and let the little one grow. A simple google search shows that it's in perfect range by gestational age.
The worksheet I used to document first tri pregnancy says anything over 85 BPM is normal. Especially at 5w6d when the heart most likely just started beating, that’s a good heart rate. It starts slower and rises over the next week or so.
You don’t need to do anything to increase it. Just don’t stress, which is easier said than done, I know.
