How are you feeling?: The nausea is letting up somewhat. It’s still there but it isn’t nearly as bad, and I can actually eat again. 

Rants/Raves: This is kind of gross, so sorry ahead of time. A couple months ago I noticed these weird bumps on my legs. I was able to identify them as molluscum contagiosum, I’ve seen it before on the kids at work. The doctors don’t really treat it because it typically goes away on its own after 6months-a year so I didn’t treat it but it has gotten so bad, and spread to my other leg. It’s on my calves and looks awful so I can’t really wear shorts, and can’t really shave my legs because that spreads it even worse. It’s starting to get hot here in SC, I need to be able to wear shorts! So I ordered some stuff on amazon that had good reviews and I feel like I can already see some improvement after a few days of treatment, I just hope I can get it cleared up by the time I have to go back to work so that I can wear shorts and not die on the playground lol. 

Questions: Anybody have any feelings about baby’s gender?? I keep thinking it’s a boy! Though I felt that way about my daughter too, lol. So who knows. This is a tie-breaker baby.

GTKY: What was your favorite childhood book? When I was really little it was Green a Eggs and Ham. Then when I was a little older it was Harry Potter, of course. I read the first book in 3rd grade, I remember reading it at school and my classmates telling me it looked like I was reading a grown-up book, lol. I was the same age as the characters when the last book came out and I’m the same age as the actors in the movie so I just feel like I grew up with them!

Upcoming Appointments: NIPT tomorrow morning! Very excited to see some updated ultrasounds, but my husband doesn't get to join me this time  Hopefully I can video him in, but he'll be at work so maybe I will just record things.

How are you feeling?: Feelin' good! My boobs feel heavy but that's really all. Excitedly anxious for tomorrow!

Rants/Raves: The state parks here in WA are opening back up tomorrow! Hoping to get in some socially distance'd hikes. Also, I started insanity up (again) with my husband last week. Making some modifications for some exercises and not going AS hard as I used to, but at least it's something while we impatiently wait for the gyms to open back up...

GTKY: What was your favorite childhood book?: When really young and just started reading, I loved the Junie B. Jones books then I read all of the Series of Unfortunate Events books as I got a little older. 

@kitkatz1990 I've never heard of your rash, but that doesn't sound fun at all. I'm glad the stuff you ordered seems to be helping! I'd die if I as in the SC heat and had to be in pants all the time. Also, regarding gender...I wish I had a feeling! I want to say boy, but I think that's just because I've always wanted a boy first!

@lovelee3 I always wanted a boy first too! DH and I have them same birth order in both of our families which is 3 boys and then a girl, so I kind of thought I’d follow a similar pattern. I expected DS to be a boy and he was, but I was absolutely SHOCKED when DD was a girl...we both were! I just want to know already so I can start buying stuff, lol. I also loved Junie B Jones and the Series of Unfortunate Events books.

That’s fun! DH has boy, girl, boy in his family and I have girl, girl, boy so I feel like anything is possible for us. Most of the family seems to be leaning toward girls for us but I couldn’t tell you why lol

How are you feeling?: I can’t concentrate for shit! Nausea is still coming and going. I threw up yesterday in the work bathroom.  

Rants/Raves: It’s Friday! Yay.. even though I may need to work tomorrow!
DD has something on her arm. We think it may be a ringworm. We tried to take her to the doctor a few days ago and they just told us to get an OTC cream. It was not a video call and pictures were not exchanged. It’s gotten bigger and looks worse. We called again, we want to make sure it’s not some kind of poisonous spider bite. They still won’t see her, unless it gets worse in 3 days.  At least this time they asked for pictures, because they didn’t the first time. This corona is crazy, I just want a doctor to examine my baby in person. The pictures don’t look as bad as it does in person. 

Questions: Not that I can think of.

GTKY: What was your favorite childhood book?: First Dr. Suess - Go Dog Go, then American Girl books( I never got the doll I begged for!) then SweetValley Twins, then of course Harry Potter!!

How are you feeling?: The ligament pain is for real. I ran 2 miles today and yesterday...apparently thats not a good idea right now. Youch!

Rants/Raves: I’m at the point where I just feel chubby, not cute and pregnant. I know it’ll pass soon, but at the moment, I just want to stay in my house out of sight. I just don’t feel very attractive. 😑

I loved Grover’s Alphabet and the Pokey Little Puppy! 💜

@kitkatz1990 my son had the same thing a couple years ago! One thing that made them go fast was apple cider vinegar dabbed on each, with a bandaid on over night. Only problem with this is that it does burn. We stopped with DS because he was hurting and it wasn’t worth that. We bought the medicine from amazon and it worked wonderfully! I don’t remember the name, but it was in a brown glass bottle with yellow label. He was cleared up within a few weeks of using it! I am so sorry you’re dealing with it! 💜

@potofgolden I never knew their were American Girl books but I DEFINITELY begged for a doll and also never got one...
@1mommyrunner SO EXCITING about finding out gender so soon! I'm super impressed that they do it early for you! Maybe I can convince my midwife to do it early!

@lovelee3 there is a private diagnostic clinic that will do gender scans at 14 weeks! We went with DD and they told us she was a girl at 13w5d. It is was amazing! It was also super obvious she was a girl so there was no “well, maybe” 💜 Definitely worth asking! 👍🏻
