Estimated Due Date/Weeks + Days: Dec 18/ 7w2d (although the baby was measuring like 4 days smaller on the last U/S)
FTM/STM/STM+: FTM
Team Green/Pink/Blue: green, but planning to find out
Interesting Baby Fact/Baby is the size of: an altoid (yesterday's M&M sounded better though)
Upcoming appointments: Tuesday for a viability scan (last week's U/S was too early for a heartbeat, so we are rechecking)
How are you feeling?:. Been really sick for the past couple days. Normally a really rough day will be followed by a good day, so fingers crossed for today. So far, still not great. Throwing up is the worst.
Rants/Raves: I am so thankful to not be working right now. I am not sure how this will go when I have to go back to work. Hopefully I will be feeling better by then. Rant: My MIL is dying to tell people. I told her we were waiting until 12 weeks and she has it marked in her calendar. With Father's Day the following week, we might just wait for that. My husband is gonna to have to deal with that.
Questions:
GTKY: If you could go back in time, what period would you travel to? I would probably want to go forward in time. I think space is so interesting and would love to see where we go with that. My favorite movie is The Martian. I just love the science involved. (However I don't think I would ever want to go into space!).
Team Green/Pink/Blue: Green until we know! Don't care either way.
Interesting Baby Fact/Baby is the size of: Altoid.
Upcoming appointments: May 11, finally getting a scan and meeting the doc.
How are you feeling?: Just tired mostly.
Rants/Raves: Not telling people is hard. Last time I told my Mom/brothers right away and my coworkers since they would know something was up. It's much quieter this time obviously.
Questions: Nope.
GTKY: If you could go back in time, what period would you travel to? The 60's for sure (but with the knowledge to have fun but be safe).
Estimated Due Date/Weeks + Days: depending on how you calculate I’m 12/13 to 12/15 (but have my first U/s on the 11th so will update/confirm after that)
FTM/STM/STM+: FTM & so so so excited!!!!
Team Green/Pink/Blue: Trying to be Team Green, but I’m really Team Pink
Interesting Baby Fact/Baby is the size of: Baby is the size of a field strawberry/raspberry
Upcoming appointments: 1st u/s on 5/11!! am also sub-clinical hypothyroid so also have monthly bloodwork and next endocrinologist Appt in June
How are you feeling?: So tired and lazy, and I’m still like 30% nauseous, it was a lot worse a week ago and is starting to lighten up
Rants/Raves: breathing in my face mask when I go out in public makes me feel like throwing up, but I just try to power throw. It’s made trips out very very very brief and quick.
GTKY: If you could go back in time, what period would you travel to? Ahhh probably like Post WW1 1920’s Europe - I feel like it was such a wild and imaginative time, and one big fun party
Estimated Due Date/Weeks + Days: 7 weeks today/ 12/21
FTM/STM/STM+: this is baby #4
Team Green/Pink/Blue: we will find out after genetic testing!
Interesting Baby Fact/Baby is the size of: no clue?
Upcoming appointments: I go for a viability u/s tmw and I'm so nervous
How are you feeling?: just tired mostly and slightly sore boobs. Otherwise fine!
Rants/Raves: I'm just so nervous and anxious this time around. I've never had to go this long without an u/s (was always seen by a fertility specialist before) and I'm just praying everything is ok in there!
Questions: anyone a nervous wreck?
GTKY: If you could go back in time, what period would you travel to? It probably wouldn't be an "important" time period by maybe revisit the days right before we had our first and live it up one more time with my hubs and sleep in all day!
@hham10. I have a viability U/S tomorrow as well. Feeling a nervous wreck which is giving me an anxious stomach (to add to the nausea). I love your time period!!
Interesting Baby Fact/Baby is the size of: an uncooked macaroni noodle
Upcoming appointments: telemedicine intake appt 5/7, ultrasound/NIPT/in-person OB visit 5/21
How are you feeling?: nauseated (nearly all the time now), anxious about not having seen this baby yet, and worried about eventually having to send DD back to daycare
Rants/Raves: the various smells of parenting a young child (poopy diapers, formula spit-up) are really difficult to tolerate right now. Also, while I am so glad to have a paycheck coming in right now, I wish work would chill on the extra projects since the company is less busy right now.
GTKY: If you could go back in time, what period would you travel to?: I would also love to see the future - I worry sometimes about the world our children are inheriting, and I would love to see that things aren't a complete disaster.
Interesting Baby Fact/Baby is the size of: Sweatheart candy
Upcoming appointments: Viability u/s on Wednesday morning! I'm sooo nervous, just happy DH can come with.
How are you feeling?: Anxious. I haven't had many symptoms yet, only slightly tender boobs, bloating, and some days I have been a bit tired. No exhaustion or nausea.
Rants/Raves: We currently live in a 1B apartment, so we have started looking at 2B options for when our lease is up in August. COVID restrictions are making it really hard for me to narrow down our options, I am a visual person and really like touring before committing to a new place, DH doesn't care as much.
GTKY: If you could go back in time, what period would you travel to? Hmmm....probably the 60s.
Estimated Due Date/Weeks + Days: 8 weeks today due 12/15
FTM/STM/STM+: baby number three here
Team Green/Pink/Blue: green for now but we may have lol
Interesting Baby Fact/Baby is the size of: iPhone Apple Icon haha
Upcoming appointments: I have a follow up with my cardiologist for my med change this Wednesday. Monday I have my telehealth appointment got genetic counseling. Tuesday I see my OB again (9weeks) and then on the 26th is my MFM consult, also telehealth.
How are you feeling?: Tired but not completely exhausted anymore. I get random waves of nausea and my nose is like that of a bloodhound so that doesnt help. Also, my nipples hurt pretty much all the time so that's fun.
Rants/Raves: Looking I to getting a bigger vehicle. We have a Chrysler sebring and that just isnt gonna cut it anymore. Thankfully we have time but we cant agree on what we want.
GTKY: If you could go back in time, what period would you travel to? I would also choose the 1960.
Viability scan was today and went well! Their equipment wasn’t great but baby measure 6w3d which would be right based on my O date but they will still keep my due date the same if 12/21. They measured the hb at 126bpm.
@dobiemom11 how was your appt?? @cheers28 good luck on your appt. I’ve never had many symptoms and no nausea if that reassures you at all. Always made me nervous before but all was fine.
@hham10. It went great. The baby is measuring small, but has a heartbeat. They moved my due date back a couple days (now technically 12/22, but I will probably stick around here). They also gave me some additional medication so maybe I can actually keep some food down. Thanks for checking in!
Interesting Baby Fact/Baby is the size of: Blueberry
Upcoming appointments: May 11 first check up and dating u/s
How are you feeling?: Mostly good... it’s unnerving, haha
Rants/Raves: Anyone else struggling to exercise?
Having my 2yo home while I attempt to work is plenty. Whenever I get a break I just want to nap.
Questions: For those who didn’t have morning sickness, when did you “feel” pregnant? I remember having this imposter feeling last time - like my biggest symptom is being super late...
GTKY: If you could go back in time, what period would you travel to? - 1920’s. I think we’d have some interesting parallels
@BmcD2016. I had a friend who got really drunk one night and ate a whole bottle of gummy vitamins. They were fiber gummies and his rough night only got worse! Maybe I should try gummy vitamins as the ones I am taking taste terrible. Any recommendations?
@dobiemom11 lol, that's hilarious. Yes, I highly recommend Smarty Pants prenatal vitamins. I've never tried any of their other stuff, but these are good. I tried taking super healthy, organic, raw food based prenatals with my last one and they killed my stomach. These gummies are legit.
@dobiemom11 yay for a good appt! How far behind were you measuring? I measured 5 days behind but was told they only change if it’s greater than 7 days.
@dobiemom11 I’m surprised they’re changing the due date based on 4 days. I’ve never had them change mine before. Luckily for me because I’ll be scheduled for a csection at 39 weeks so it’ll be a little sooner.
