R/R: DH and I are having a date night in tonight. Mostly, it's involving ordering take out from a local restaurant and playing a board game but I'm looking forward to it very much!
I tried calling the vet about another one of my cats this week but I need to follow up. They were on lunch when I called and never got back to me. I'm hoping everything is fine but her canines on top are super long! Like down to her chin. And one of them is longer than the other. That combined with bad breath makes me wonder if she's got a dental issue that should be looked at. I'm hoping the word long fangs is just a weird genetic thing. Including a picture in case you're curious.
CS/Q:
i have two cats that are 8yrs old. last year when i brought them to the vet, she advised me to get dentals for them both because the dental health can deteriorate quickly and cause other issues. very expensive! though i suppose cheaper than waiting for an issue. Does she seem to have any discomfort?
@gingermama29 awww what a sweet face! Could it be something with her jaw not being in the right place so the teeth stick out more than normal like that? 🤷♀️ Not a vet so just ignore me haha

R/R: So happy to be done with my brief and have a fairly easy work day today, I actually haven't even done any yet lol but have calls from 9:30-11 so that should be good easy billable time. Did anyone watch the Parks and Rec thing last night? I totally forgot but am hoping to find it somewhere today to stream.
CS/Q: Not yet, but thinking O is tomorrow so will hopefully get CHs shortly after.

@asf0613 I'm super curious what my OPKs will look like now that it's a fresh cycle. No more cycle suppression drugs to worry about for me this time. Maybe there will actually be some color to start! Lol

@legallykate enjoy your date night too! I didn't catch P&R last night (I don't have cable) but am planning to watch it today on Hulu. I have to wait for DH to get home from work to watch it though. Boooo. My fault for getting him into the show.
@asf0613 oooh I like the email suggestion. I will look into whether or not that's an option.
@gingermama29 I've never seen that on a cat. Such a pretty kitty though! I hope the vet gets back to you soon and it's not anything concerning. Enjoy your date night with H!
@inthewoods23 Yay for you for being on top of things!! I bet it feels good to get the dishes done. Hope your appointment tomorrow for your kitty goes well.
@legallykate I'm glad your brief is done! And yay for an easy work day today. You deserve it after working so hard this week. Any fun relaxing plans this weekend to reward yourself?

@asf0613 glad you are feeling better. I hope the lingerie works! Has no effect for me other than cluing him in as to what day it is
@gingermama29 and @inthewoods23 hope all goes well with your kitties
@legallykate I'm also looking forward to streaming it this weekend. I've only binged a few of the initial seasons so I might be totally confused
@linzrunz wow that's a fun goal! and should help you maybe stop googling. I'm such a victim of that myself!
Have a good weekend all
@gingermama29 Board game nights are fun! Hopefully you can get your kitty in to see the vet soon.
@inthewoods23 Hooray for dishes being done!!
@legallykate I'm glad you get a bit of a break after your brief. Fingers crossed O comes soon!
@linzrunz Learning new languages is fun! Hopefully you keep improving. I quit learning Spanish years ago, but I know bits and pieces of several languages thanks to my background in classical vocal training. MH knows German and some Spanish and we both hope to learn ASL sometime. I think languages are a lot of fun.
@baker_324 Sorry about the rain in your sunroom. I hope it's not an expensive fix. Fingers also crossed super hard that your counter top install actually happens this weekend!

R/R: I mentioned in the Funny Friday thread that I'm considering a clinical doctorate (PsyD.) and that I'm going to have a chat with my dad's girlfriend about it. I'm excited and nervous about the possibility of it. I've always said that I don't think I'll ever get a doctorate, but now I'm not so sure. I've been pretty heavily considering it for a few months at this point. I just spent my whole afternoon gathering boxes and breaking them down for a Beltane bonfire tonight. It makes me so happy to get boxes off of my porch. My knee is also feeling marginally better today. Maybe I'll break out my LED poi later and play with them while we burn stuff. My neighbors are moving and I'm kind of sad about it. I'm not a people person and for the most part they keep to themselves but they're super friendly and they always looked after our stuff if we were on vacation. I don't know how the new neighbors are going to be and that makes me nervous.
CS/Q: Nope (but I FINALLY found my BBT therm again today. It slipped between my bed and the wall, so I'll start temps tomorrow. I still have 8-10 days until O).
