@inthewoods23 Ok, I can appreciate that.  I shall take you off my Terrible Human Being list.    I, however, would love to adopt and foster ALL the dogs.  We only have two, but I want more.  I've been puppy hungry for months and my neighbors just got an adorable ball of fluff puppy that I can't even go over and play with.  So I'm super jealous.

I would love to be a place to send hospice dogs.  I would love them and spoil them for whatever life they have left.  I just can't stand to see old dogs in shelters.

@linzrunz your love of dogs basically equates to my love for cats so we're even 🙂 as much as I would like more than 1 cat, I keep my desire in check by being part of like 10 FB groups related to cats lol

Okay staying on the pet theme, maybe this should wait till FFFC but:

I don't think it's a big deal or something people should feel bad about when they get a dog through a breeder or however they get one, instead of getting a rescue. I just can't get worked up about that the way some people do, and think people should get whatever pet is right for them. But your hospice dog idea is sweet @linzrunz and rescue pets are definitely great!

@whitealbum29 I agree with that. I feel like it's the same argument with adopting a child vs having your own biological child. There shouldn't be any shame about having your own kids when plenty of children are waiting to be adopted. They can be very different things, just like the behaviors of a breeder pup or rescue pup. There's also the struggle of getting older pets adopted out too over kittens/puppies.

@inthewoods23 I personally didn't want to have dogs around my hedgie. I grew up with dogs and love dogs, but something about also having a hedgie to care for made me say I will absolutely not have a dog in the same house.

I can pet other people’s cats, and i love cat memes and videos, but I am not a cat person AT ALL!!!  I do not trust them lol

@ashaislurking that's understandable. My cat is mostly just curious of them and doesn't try going after them. Dogs are certainly different.

@inthewoods23 I'll join you in your UO. I like dogs but have no interest in having one as a pet. Too high maintenance for me. Give me all the cats! 💕😺

@kpearse99 I had 2 cats and while I loved them, they could definitely be jerks. Knocking things off my dresser just for fun? Total jerk move. I don't know if I would own a cat again.

In keeping w the theme, the last pet I’d want to have is a snake. But I’m with you, @inthewoods23. Dogs are adorable but way too much work. And the thought of picking up bags of doggie poop is beyond disgusting to me. 😄
