Sertraline/Zoloft

Hey all! I have been on 25mg of Sertraline for about 6 months now to help me manage some anxiety. The doctor says it's one of the safest to take, but there are studies showing slightly increased risks to baby. I can't decide if it's better to go off it or stay on. Any thoughts or experiences?

Hi @anaglereads! I have been on sertraline 50mg for a little over a year. My sister is an NP and said it is completely fine to take. My dr also told me that if it helps with my anxiety, that it is fine to take too. πŸ’œ I had the same fears and reservations, but decided to trust my dr and not dr google. 😊 But ultimately, do what you feel is best for you! πŸ’œ

  • I am on Wellbutrin. I just spoke to my psychiatrist about it and he told me it's low risk and would be more detrimental to take me off of medication, so I'm staying on. I know when I was first trying to get pregnant that I went on Zoloft because it was one of the lower risk antidepressants.Β
