GTKY: Have you ever met a celebrity? If so, who and how? If not, who would you most like to meet and why?
Current pregnancy - First BFP on 1/4/22. Due date 9/13/22.
Four prior losses, no living children - 1 first trimester miscarriage, 1 blighted ovum, 1 chemical, and one extreme premature live birth daughter who died at 15 days old.
Rant/Rave: I had my cerclage placed last Friday and I was not expecting to be as sore as I was. But I took it easy all weekend and I feel pretty good today.
GTKY: Have you ever met a celebrity? If so, who and how? If not, who would you most like to meet and why?- I have not. I would love to meet Jenna Fischer and Angela Kinsey. They were on The Office and do The Office Ladies podcast. They seem so nice and have a lot of fun.
Me: 27 DH: 27 Married 6/15/13 BFP #1 5/8/16, EDD 12/31/16- DD born 9/10/16 at 24 weeks ~In our hearts forever~ BFP #2 10/14/17, EDD 7/1/18
Upcoming Appointments: two next month— regular appointment and anatomy ultrasound
Rant/Rave: Rave: The weather is finally getting nice here so it’s making quarantine not so miserable.
Rant: I really don’t think I’m going to be able to spend time with my family at all before these babies come and that really hurts my heart.
GTKY: Have you ever met a celebrity? If so, who and how? If not, who would you most like to meet and why? Not that I can recall. I watch a lot of food network so probably a chef. I’m not a huge fan girl of celebrities.
@profmcgonagall yay for the cerclage! Sorry it was sore. I don’t know a ton about them, when do they take it out? My friend had one that I think she had out at 35 weeks.
@mckjacks I’m sorry you’re struggling with not seeing family The only person I miss is my mom but I feel like we need to see other people to tell them about the baby before I can post on FB. So that feels like it will never happen.
Estimated due date (EDD): 10/11
Week of pregnancy: 15w1d
Upcoming Appointments: 4/29 though I need to ask them if they want me in the office since I had to go back to work at the hospital
Rant/Rave: work was so boring this weekend. I mean, I shouldn’t complain because I’m being paid to sit on my butt but sometimes I would like a little more to do, ha. But then when they order an ultrasound I’m like “ugh, why?!”
DS2 is so close to crawling. He drags himself around army crawling and will get up on his hands and knees but just can’t coordinate the movement yet. It’s so cute to watch him drag himself around. DS1 never did that, just went straight to regular crawling.
GTKY: Have you ever met a celebrity? If so, who and how? If not, who would you most like to meet and why? I did a meet and greet with Rascal Flatts. I was a major fan girl in high school.
@calliah, they will take mine out during my c section at 37 weeks. For most people, it’s removed between 35-37 weeks to get it out before you go into labor.

@mckjacks I feel you on the weather. Although it did snow here twice last week, yesterday was beautiful! April is a moody B* in northern New England so you never know what you're going to get day-to-day. The sunshine and relative warm temps make me feel so much happier!
@calliah Sorry work has been boring, it stinks when there isn't much to do. Enjoy your time with DS it must be so fun watching him try to figure it out.
Estimated due date (EDD): 10/8
Week of pregnancy: 15
Upcoming Appointments: anatomy scan on 5/13!!
Rant/Rave: Just trying not to be anxious about finances. I keep thinking about the "what ifs": what if my company goes bankrupt and I won't have a job to go back to? Will I be able to find a new job at x-months pregnant? If I lose my PTO for maternity leave it would be devastating... I keep going down this rabbit hole of worries and I know it's all out of my control. I know things will all work out one way or another, but I feel so useless right now like I can't do anything about it 😔
GTKY: Have you ever met a celebrity? If so, who and how? If not, who would you most like to meet and why? I have not met a celebrity. I don't know too much about the personal lives of celebrities so I don't know who would be worth meeting, but I've heard Keanu Reeves is really nice and down-to-earth so that might be cool.
Rant/Rave: I baked 3 loaves of bread yesterday- both a rave and a rant, because bread is sooo good but also I don't need to have the temptation of 3 loaves of bread!
GTKY: Have you ever met a celebrity? If so, who and how? If not, who would you most like to meet and why?I've met Kendra Wilkinson, but I'd love to meet the guys from Queer Eye.
@ginevere finances are so hard right now! It’s a challenging time to be pregnant. I’m only working half my normal hours and so I’m not accruing as much PTO as I normally would and also not making as much/having extra to add to savings. I was going to be short for leave anyway since I just used it all at the end of last year.
Everything will hopefully work out ok(ish) in the end.
@calliah that stinks that your hours have been cut in half. I'm not sure how being furloughed will affect my PTO, but I probably won't be accruing any during this time either so we'll see.
We've always made it work somehow and I feel so grateful that MH is still fully employed and can mostly work from home right now. I think his Holiday bonus will get us through maternity leave if nothing else, but that's never fully guaranteed and I hate feeling like I'm putting it all on him.
At the end of the tunnel there will be a little miracle baby to love and at least we all have that to look forward to.
Next appt: Telemedicine appt in 3 weeks, anatomy scan in 5 weeks
Rant/Rave: 💜💜💜 iced tea from Chick-fil-A! Also, hubs finished our giant deck this week and I can't wait for warmer weather to go enjoy it! (And to decorate it!) I think I can feel tiny baby movements, but also could be the major gas bubbles that have been plaguing me for the past 2 weeks (ugh).
Celebrity: I met Phil Vassar after a concert at a county fair 10 years ago. Last summer my 5 year old and I met former NASCAR driver Kasey Kahne at a local dirt track. That was so much fun!!
