Hi, ladies! I just found out I’m pregnant on my 2nd cycle TTC after a miscarriage and D&C in December. I’m having a lot of cramping (mild but frequent) which I also had with my first pregnancy (baby stopped growing at 7 weeks, 3 days and I found out at 8 weeks, 5 days) so naturally I’m just worried about this happening again. Can anyone give any insight into their experience of normal vs. abnormal cramping in early pregnancy? I’m 4 weeks and 1 day. Thank you!
Unfortunately nothing anyone can say can give you the answer you are looking for I’m sorry. While cramping for some is okay for others it isn’t. Unfortunately with being as early as you are a dr wouldn’t be able to see anything to give you confirmation either. Sorry. I would try to stay positive though.
Agree with @stillcozy. Some cramping is supposed to be completely normal in PG, but it never was for me. If you are concerned, please call your doctor. You can ask for HCG beta draws (where you'd have to get bloodwork every 48 hours and make sure the number doubles). However, you may have to go to a hospital to get your draws done, and that could be worse/more stressful depending on the COVID/hospital situation in your area.
