Men wanting little boys!!

Does anyone else get so sick of hearing how all men want a son first? My husband never really cared, but people always made it a point to think he wanted a boy. I don't understand why most men feel this way in modern times

I think that the thought is still out there that men want to have a son to pass down their last name. Now a days that seems less of thing because you see more women keeping their maiden names. 

But thats just my thought on it. My husband always says he just wants a healthy baby.
