Yesterday I was saying how DD seems to be having nightmares.

I was out last night and DH put DD to bed. He said that they went through the normal routine and the second he laid her down, she FREAKED OUT. he said he's never seen her like that. She started shaking really hard and crying "No no no!"

he got her back up to comfort her and said that she cried and was shaking for almost 45 minutes before she finally calmed back down.

I asked if she was acting mad or upset or scared or what and he goes "it's like she was completely terrified"

WTF happened to my kid?!

    Awww, can you try something new to make bedtime less scary now?  We have a Moby Tykelight that Emma sleeps with that makes it easier for us.

    :-(  I don't know. Poor thing!

    Maybe she's going through separation anxiety for some reason?  DD was doing this at bedtime during the 18 month developmental spurt.  It lasted 2-3 weeks.  But she wasn't really waking up overnight. 

    Did your routine get messed up from the holidays?  I know ours did.  Maybe she's having trouble getting back to normal?

    I hope things get better!
