Estimated due date (EDD): 10/09 - I'm measuring 2 days behind and usually ovulate later in my cycle, but my midwife wants to keep it at 10/09

Upcoming Appointments: just had one, so not for another month

Rant/Rave: Rave - I work for a small company, so I was worried how they would react when I told them I was pregnant. Yesterday, the director of HR told me that she didn't want me coming into the office for at least 6 months after the birth. I get to work from home after my leave is over, then modify to a 50/50 in home vs at work schedule until I am comfortable being back in the office full time. 

Questions: none.

GTKY: Do you have a nickname for your belly buddy yet? Baby Bacch - s/he was conceived during a wine/beer getaway weekend, so it seems only fitting. DS was PJ because I had a dream DH wanted to name him Pajamas. "His nickname could be PJ and he can be best friends with Blanket?"

I guess I go here now. My midwife moved my due date and I'm tired of pretending on the wrong day. If they want me to be a Friday, I'll be a Friday!

Week of pregnancy: 9 weeks

Size of Baby: Cherry

Upcoming Appointments:I have a dating US next week. I always end up with an extra scan or two I feel like I really don't need. I feel like I should think that is fun but it is either super time consuming, I somehow get billed a ton for it, or uncomfortable (looking at you vagina wand). So I have very short cycles, and would be shocked if I were more than 1-2 days off on my due date. But my midwife goes welllll your uterus feels a bit larger than 8 weeks. Its totally normal since its your third baby, but lets just do a dating scan anyhow. Then she gave me a sneak peek of baby, said she believed me that I was 8 weeks, and ordered the scan anyhow lol. OK...

Rant/Rave:Husband has the flu, I am a single parent right now basically. Says it all.

Questions:

GTKY: Do you have a nickname for your belly buddy yet? Skip! And I honestly have no idea where my hubs came up with this? I think we want another girl and sohe figured he'd just name it a boy name to pretend like we're fine if its a boy haha. Reverse psychology that baby in to what gender we are rooting for.

BUT obviously we'll love a boy just as much. Just struggling to think of names is all.

Rant/Rave: Rave: The weather has been so beautiful that I’ve been able to spend so much time outside with my son. I just love it! Rant: I’m so exhausted that I’m being so lazy when my son is napping and I feel bad about it! 

Questions: I know I’ve heard other STM+ mention this, but I’m just shocked at how much earlier my belly is starting to show this pregnancy. If I’m bloated at all I look 5 months pregnant and I have to suck in all day at work. If I’m not bloated then I still have a little bump which I’m trying my best to hide for another 5 weeks! 

GTKY: Do you have a nickname for your belly buddy yet? No nicknames yet, we called my son Balzo because we found that name when looking up the worst baby names and we thought it was funny! We aren’t finding out the gender this time so I’m not sure what nickname we will come up with.

@Smelh324  Welcome to Friday!

@westslopemama I'm also surprised at how big my belly is already!  My belly is the same size at 8 weeks as it was at about 18 weeks with my first pregnancy.  The strange thing is that I definitely look bigger this pregnancy, but I actually weigh a couple of pounds less than I did at this time with my first pregnancy.

@aztecash  That is awesome that you'll be able to work from home for an extended period of time!

Rant/Rave:  I got to see baby on ultrasound earlier this week.  Baby had a heart rate in the 150s, and baby was measuring as expected so no change to my due date.  I had the biggest smile on my face for the rest of the day.  I even decided to call my parents to tell them that I am pregnant.  They didn't even know that DH and I were trying, so they were absolutely shocked and started crying.  They didn't think that they were going to have any more grandchildren.

GTKY: Do you have a nickname for your belly buddy yet?  Baby is currently being referred to by the girl name that DH and I picked out years ago.  We just aren't openly sharing the name.  I told DH that we have to have a girl because I don't like any boy names.  (I'm just joking.  I just want a healthy baby.  I don't care if it is a boy or girl.)    I would love to have another boy, but I am still searching for a boy name that I would actually consider using.  I think about names a lot.
