An update for those crossing their fingers for me (thank you!), our offer was accepted!!! Yay! It is a brutal market out there! Now on to inspection, appraisal, and all that jazz. Provided no hiccups, we should close April 15! 🏡❤️🏡
@meanjellybean it’s gonna be a whirlwind! We haven’t put our house on the market yet either so we have to hop on that. I’m sleepy just thinking about it. 😂
@meanjellybean congrats on the boy! Based on my personal history and family history, I feel like there’s no way I’m having a boy. But based on my membership in this group, I feel like there’s no way I’m having a girl! 😆
Also, this morning we heard that about 70 healthcare workers at the nearby hospital were put on quarantine due to Coronavirus exposure. Not the hospital I was going to for my ultrasound, but the clinic closest to that hospital (both Kaiser), so I’m very suspicious that my ultrasound being canceled is related to tons of people being quarantined. Anyway, I’m rescheduled for Friday at a different hospital. But being this close to the Coronavirus doesn’t feel great while I’m just trying to get basic pre-natal care! 😬
@Pascal86 just take the same precautions you'd take if there was a flu outbreak. Wash your hands a TON and stay away from anyone who is acting sick. You'll be fine!
Checking in super late this week! Hopefully I'll be able to come back for a few tags
EDD/weeks+days: July 7/22+1
Team Finding Out/Pink/Blue/Green: Green
Baby is the size of a(n)/fun fact: Coconut!
Upcoming appointments: first appointment next week with the maternity clinic
How are you feeling? pregnancy wise, really good...big, but good. DH and DS are starting to feel baby moving around, so that's been a lot of fun
Raves/Rants: I apologize in advance for my ranting this week. To kick things off, Friday night our ancient washing machine broke. My husband, the engineer that he is, had to figure out what was wrong with it (which he did!), and get it fixed right away. Saturday afternoon we had the parts we needed to get it fixed during naptime. My husband is a bit of a perfectionist, so situations like this are a bit stressful in our house, and caused a bunch of unnecessary arguing. In the end though, we pulled it together and got it fixed for now. Saturday night, DS came down with a bit of a cough/cold, and sleeping has been miserable ever since. This morning he finally had a good stretch of sleep, so hopefully he's on the mend, although I'm sure that either DH or myself are next on the hit list, and work has been a sh*t. All in all just a crappy week...I guess my rave is that my IL's will be here to visit in just under 2 weeks. Hopefully I can use that time to get some baby stuff ready.
Questions: none
GTKY: What was your first job? in highschool during the summer, i would work at a learning program, where people all around the world would come to learn English. it was quite fun! We would stay at a university campus for a month, and run like a summer camp. So many young loves and drama would develop over those 4 weeks
