Nobody knows the sex of this baby yet, but my daughter spent half of yesterday drawing pictures of her and her "baby brother." I reminded her she might be having a baby sister and she said, "Yeah, I could have a baby brother or a baby sister, but I think it's a nice brother."

The Chinese date chart agrees with her. I almost want her to be right just because it would be a cute story to have to tell later. We'll see eventually I suppose.

ETA My bff was correct when she guessed on transfer day for DD, and then she guessed again on transfer day for this bub.  So that would be fun if she were right both times!  And I kind of agreed with her gut feelings as well, I just hate to say out loud because then if you're wrong, the kid gets to hear stories about how, "your mom thought you were for sure a <i>BOY</i>!" 🙄 I'm sure that never gets old for my <i>neice</i> when she has to hear that....

Now that I'm in the second tri, I feel great energy wise, so I want to be more active during my lunch break. While at work I was thinking of either riding the bike or doing the elliptical. But when I'm at home on Tuesday's and Thursday's I can either walk outside or do something else. What is that something else that everyone else is doing?

My son is home with croup today. Neither of us got sleep from his coughing. Im so tired today.

Ds1 put himself down for a nap I am legit scared, lol. He hates sleep and I have to fight him to lay down. But today he calmly walked backed and laid down and fell right sleep. If you need me, I will be over here waiting for the other shoe to drop.

@wildrainbow That's Amazing.  I would be too!  Normally I have to wrestle with her into settling - not every day, but OFTEN - and I feel bad bc she will cry too, but then she just drops off and I'm like, see?  Can we please just try that next time, minus all the drama????  But when it ever happens, I'll be holding my breath lol

@RedBaramid For over a year now my son has been talking about this brother he was going to have. Out of nowhere, he just started talking about him and would tell people I was going to have a baby boy (super fun explaining this to people). A few weeks ago he told our daughter that “soon mom will have a baby” and it would be two boys (this was before they knew I was pregnant and *TW* we certainly didn’t tell them about the vanishing twin *end TW*). 

He’s one of the only ones that guessed boy. Maybe your daughter is having the same strong feeling my son carried for over a year!

This gif is adorbs. Usually I’m not a Valentine’s Day person but DH and I have a dinner/bar/hotel date night with friends planned for this weekend and I’m so excited. My mom is watching Dd (2). This momma needs a night out, so Goodluck gma, please don’t update me  on how many times DD climbs out of the pack and play 😬

My NIPT results are in!!!!!! And yes, I had to continuously call like a psycho!  All tests are low risk, for sure!  I'm so relieved!  Going to pick up the gender envelope on my way home then stop at the bakery for cupcakes.  Hubs and I will do our own mini reveal tonight... keep you posted

I had conferences tonight. It was 7:00 and I was exhausted!! Didn't get home until after 8 and my son was already asleep. Bummer..
Had to pack lunches and shower and now I'm blissfully sitting in bed with a block of cheese and crackers 
It has been such a long week already. I'm eager for my long weekend ahead.

Traffic was horrible tonight so DH, DS, and I got home a almost an hour later than usual. DH ordered dinner, then told me at like 6:30 that the order hadn’t gone through on the app so he was going to cook something quick while I played with DS. 

10 minutes later, realizes he had ordered dinner, just on a different app than he’d thought, and it would be there in 10 minutes! So we had takeout for dinner and have another dinner all cooked for tomorrow 😂

Along a similar vein, I went into the market mostly just to get carrots and celery so I could make pea soup for dinner.  And maybe Kim chi, bc I had a hankering...

So I got all that, plus frozen veggie spring rolls, so that became my dinner (spring rolls, salad w shredded chicken, and kimchi) bc I figured the soup would take too long anyway, and I can make that tomorrow when I'm home.  So 1. Not only is the next dinner waiting for me to make tomorrow, but 2. I found out my 16mo likes KIMCHEE!!!! 😂 This of course only after telling her how many times it's spicy, and trying to guard my bowl, and finally giving up, only to see her not only eating it with the fork all by herself, but going back for More! Omg wonders never cease.

I'm jealous! I went to the freezer to pull out chicken for tonight's dinner and realized I didn't have any and I won't have time to get to the store for chicken or the meat I need for tomorrow's dinner so I'm the total opposite. Winging it for 2 straight meals!

Had to call my dr this morning, my itching has ramped up significantly to the point that I was ready to peel my skin off. I think I may be getting Cholestasis sooner than later. Yesterday while I was grocery shopping I had to stop myself from scratching because I didnt want to look like a crazy person.  I was hoping that maybe my body would cooperate this time since this was a surprise and our last, but it looks like it is ramping up to be long, miserable pregnancy.

@ziggymama06 It could be. I won't know until I get a blood test to check my bile acids and liver enzymes. I'm not ready for all the fussing and worry and just drainage that is Cholestasis, I know that. I wanted some time to feel normal for just a bit.

I just had the craziest thing happen... my birthday was Monday and my mom said she would get me something for the baby as my gift. So I figured I would try to get a big ticket item out of her and asked for a stroller. The 2019 Uppababy strollers were on sale since the 2020 version had just come out, so I told her I wanted the 2019 one. Well, she ordered the wrong color so I figured I would go to the store and see if they had the color I wanted in stock or if they could give me store credit so I could just order it myself. Well they didn't have the 2019 in stock, so they gave me the 2020 stroller at the price of the on sale 2019 one! I was so baffled at why they would do that since the difference was like $250 or something crazy like that! But now I got the new 2020 Uppababy for an insanely cheap price

Well, I finally made the jump into maternity jeans today after spending all of yesterday uncomfortable. They are so huge on me even though I know I bought the right size. My bump is pretty small still.

DH surprised me with a beautiful bouquet tonight for Valentine's day, since we have his work party tomorrow night. I love having fresh flowers in the house, but IDK if it's my pregnancy nose or the types of flowers, but the smell is so strong. I swear I can still smell them throughout the house even if I close the door to the room they are in. I don't want to say anything to DH because he was so thoughtful and flowers are $$ when you're trying to save money, but it's not a great smell to me right now.

I picked up a card for DH, as well as tulips and a musical Snoopy card for DD! :D I can't wait to give it to her tomorrow morning! ❤️

Also, a dozen rainbow cupcakes for work, since I'm finally coming out about the pregnancy. 🤗🤗🤗 That should be fun!
