So there has been a bunch of discussion about not knowing each other very well. I figured maybe we can re-intro now that we are further along and there are some new faces and those of us who have been here a while. That way maybe we can have an easier time connecting and remembering each other. Keep in mind you can be as specific or generalize as much as you are comfortable with.

Re: Role Call
Where are you located? Wisconsin
Spouse, Partner, Kids, or Furbabies? H and I are middle/high school sweethearts. We've been married for 8.5 years. DD is a Nov'16 baby and is 3. We have a blue point siamese cat, he is almost 8.
What do you/partner do for a living? I am a Graphic Designer and H is a Supervisor at a large retail chain.
Hobbies, things you are really into, etc. As I get older I am much more of a homebody, partially because I like it and partially because it is so hard to work full time and keep up with the house and family let alone adding socializing. I love watching the NFL, I love playing board games, I am into cooking-especially Whole30 style, and I love listening to podcasts... particularly true crime.
Anything you’d like us to know I'm 31, turning 32 shortly after this LO is born. This will be our last kiddo and subsequently the last grandchild (for sure for my side, and most likely for DH's side). ETA: We bought our house prior to children knowing it could be a forever home. After this one we will focus on fixing it up how we want. Like finishing the basement, finally painting the major areas, and maybe some kitchen and bathroom renovations.

TTC#2 April 2019- EDD (Estimated Due Date) 5/22/20
- Where are you located? Mid-coast Maine
- Spouse, Partner, Kids, or Furbabies? Husband, we met in college, been married for 6 years. One daughter born in April 2017. No pets, but my parents have a dog and they live with us half the year.
- What do you/partner do for a living? I work from home as a project manager. Husband works for a large and well-known national nonprofit as a fundraiser
- Hobbies, things you are really into, etc. I love to read and bake. I'm an avid internet researcher. I love the snow, one of the reasons we moved to Maine. I'm very politically interested and would call myself a progressive and a liberal.
- Anything you’d like us to know. Hmm, nothing that comes to mind but may edit in the future...
DD #2: May 2020
Baby #3: EDD May 2023; MC October 2022
- Where are you located? Ohio
- Spouse, Partner, Kids, or Furbabies? DH and I have been married for 5.5 years, together for almost 8. I have a 9.5yo stepson and a D15 baby boy who I can’t believe is 4. No pets and another boy on the way.
- What do you/partner do for a living? I work in healthcare and DH is a machinist.
- Hobbies, things you are really into, etc. also have become more of a homebody as I have gotten older and more involved in raising a family. I like our routine even though my work hours can throw it off if I work late. I love college football and any/all types of baseball. I’m trying really hard to get my kids involved in more things outside of the house... there never seems to be enough time! I also like baking for fun.
- Anything you’d like us to know: my sister is also pregnant with her second child but she has both girls and is due in March 20 so DS and my niece are 13 months apart and DS2 and neice2 will be 8 weeks apart!
- Where are you located? Northern CA/Bay Area.
- Spouse, Partner, Kids, or Furbabies? MH and I have been together 10 years and married 7. We have two kids, a 5 yo son and a 3.5 yo daughter, two Great Danes and a small parrot.
- What do you/partner do for a living? I'm an attorney and MH is in law enforcement.
- Hobbies, things you are really into, etc. Add me to team homebody. I really enjoy the outdoors, reading, cooking, animals. I wish I was a farmer instead of a lawyer, but 🤷♀️. I would have all the animals if I could.
- Anything you’d like us to know I'm also way into true crime. And I'm embarrassingly into Harry Potter. I'm actually re-reading the books right now.
Where are you located? Central IL
Spouse, Partner, Kids, or Furbabies? DH and I have been married almost 5 years and have a 2 year old daughter. We also have a 3 year old Golden Retriever who is a spoiled baby. DH tells people I love the dog more than him which isn't that far off lol I feel so guilty he gets less attention with a toddler and even less now that I'm pregnant again so we sometimes make up for it with treats it seems and now he's a fatty (100lb).
What do you/partner do for a living? I'm an actuary and DH is an electrical estimator
Hobbies, things you are really into, etc. Our family is very involved in drag racing in the warmer months. My parents and brother go every weekend so we see them a lot and it keeps us very close. I'm interested to see how this summer will turn out with a brand new baby. I assume I'll have to skip a lot of the races this year.

DH is 30 and I will be 30 this year as well. We live in a coastal area and adore where we live and where we get to raise our family. We are team green this go round and super excited for that surprise at birth. After this, we hope to have one more to complete our team.
- EDD (Estimated Due Date) : 5/14
- Where are you located? Central Virginia
- Spouse, Partner, Kids, or Furbabies? DH and I have been married for 3.5 years, we have one son (20 months), and a giant cat we adopted 5 years ago who we suspect is at least 1/2 Maine Coon.
- What do you/partner do for a living? I am an RN - my background is in the ICU but I am currently a private nurse manager hired by a family (for an elderly gentleman). MH is a contractor for the government and is currently the chief data scientist for the organization he works for. He also started law school full time (thank you GI bill) last fall - so we've been super busy this year and it's been an adventure. We have spent a lot of time apart and a lot of time moving with his line of work (with deployments, etc) and are grateful for this change although it is currently a challenge.
- Hobbies, things you are really into, etc. I enjoy crafting but that has taken a back burner in the past couple years. I am definitely also a home body and introvert. I am more of an early riser and MH is a huge night owl, which is sometimes a point of contention between us. I love staying active, whether it's running, hiking, bodypump, yoga, etc. I live in a beautiful area close to a lot of hiking and outdoor activities. Oh and tons of amazing wineries and breweries - I love wine and a good IPA.
- Anything you’d like us to know I grew up in the Midwest - Illinois (I know we have several members from IL). I have 4 brothers & sisters (including a twin sister) - all of them have children so this will be baby #13 for my immediate family. Unfortunately, none of them live close to me. Maybe we can do this later if we start up the PG and can add more detail.
- Where are you located? Southeast Michigan
- Spouse, Partner, Kids, or Furbabies? DH and I have been together for 12.5 years, married for 7.5. No kids yet, this has been a long road for us. Three indoor, spoiled rabbits.
- What do you/partner do for a living? I work in museums and heritage, DH works in tech for a major car manufacturer (if I'm too specific here I'm very easily identifiable. Will share more when private.)
- Hobbies, things you are really into, etc. I love crafting and scrapbooking, but I don't get enough time for it. I play roller derby (I'm off this season, for obvious reasons). My best friend and I are working on restoring a car. DH and I both love board games and video games.
- Anything you’d like us to know: Nothing else I can think of right now. Thanks for putting this together @m6agua
- EDD (Estimated Due Date) May 14th with twin boys. May 14th is also MH’s birthday
- Where are you located? Twin Cities area in MN
- Spouse, Partner, Kids, or Furbabies? MH and I have been married 8.5 years, but will have been together officially 4 years at the end of Feb 😉
We don’t have any other kids, but I’ve been a nanny for the same family for the last 4 years and started when the youngest was 3 months old. I watch them full time, plus occasional nights and weekends, and anytime they go on vacation. MH loves to help out when he’s off work, and we seriously love them as our own. They are very much our family. We also have two cats, and we are 100% crazy cat people.
- What do you/partner do for a living? I am a nanny for 7 kids, my husband is a construction manager for an architecture and engineering firm. It makes for really long summers when he works 100+ hours, but his low key winters are my favorite.
- Hobbies, things you are really into, etc. I really love crafting, but I very rarely finish any projects 🤦♀️ I also love interior design, and in some future life I will be an interior designer or home stager. I also love gardening and raising monarchs. Last summer I released 300 butterflies.
- Anything you’d like us to know
Our twins are the product of IVF. However we only transferred one embryo and it split. We begged them to do two, and they refused. Thank god!
- Where are you located? We settled down in GA a few years ago after MH got out of the military, but I’m hoping to move back to my hometown next year.
- Spouse, Partner, Kids, or Furbabies? MH and I have been married for 8 years. We have two boys, ages 7 and 4. 2 cats and 1 fat bulldog. Our house is absolute chaos.
- What do you/partner do for a living? I’m a SAHM after deciding an English teacher’s salary and dealing with other people’s kids post babies wasn’t for me anymore. MH is a diesel mechanic and still in the army reserves for a few more years.
- Hobbies, things you are really into, etc. I spend my free time reading, strolling target and drinking excessive amounts of coffee. I’m an introvert and prefer to spend my time alone.
- Anything you’d like us to know? This is for sure the last baby. I tell everyone that so they hold me accountable. 3 is just enough, I’m sure of it.
5/14/2020 with a girl
- Where are you located?
Northern California
- Spouse, Partner, Kids, or Furbabies?
DH and I have been together for almost 11 years, married 6.5. We have one DS born June15 and 2 crazy cats that only show up for food.
- What do you/partner do for a living?
I'm a scheduler for the radiology department at a hospital/outpatient facility and H builds super fancy windows
- Hobbies, things you are really into, etc.
I love to do all the crafts! I'm mostly into my Cricut right niw, but I like sewing, painting and recently started practicing on wood burning. I like baking and reading and hanging out with my little family. +1 to the homebody/introvert group!
- Anything you’d like us to know
This should be our last child as well. H says he'd like one more, but I'm ready to be done, I guess we'll reevaluate in a year or so.
- Where are you located? Pomona, CA (outskirts of LA)
- Spouse, Partner, Kids, or Furbabies? DH and I met online almost 7 years ago (wow time flies) and we've been married for 18 months. This will be our first baby. We have a 5-year old grey Tabby who needs to be the center of attention.
- What do you/partner do for a living? I'm an Assistant Professor in Exercise Science and DH works with special needs kids (full time) and is a part-time basketball coach.
- Hobbies, things you are really into, etc. Team homebody for sure. I like spending quality time with friends/family. DH & I also enjoy going to the movies-- I think we haven't done anything else on date night for the past 5 years
- Anything you’d like us to know -- DH is an only child so this is the first grandchild on his side. This will be the 5th grandchild on my side but I'm the only girl and my brothers don't always get to see their kids-- so this baby will get A LOT of attention. We do plan to have another kid, but we'll be done after 2.

- Where are you located? Wisconsin
- Spouse, Partner, Kids, or Furbabies? DH and I have been together since college and married for 5 years. We have 1 DD that is 2.5. We have one dog right now (boxer/lab mix), but will be getting a rottweiler puppy at the end of next month!
- What do you/partner do for a living? I'm an engineer at a foundry and DH is in purchasing/inventory at a truck dealership while getting his MBA.
- Hobbies, things you are really into, etc. -- I used to have more hobbies pre-kids since I played a lot of soccer, flag football, kickball... Now, I'm trying to find something different to get into. I plan to make an at-home foundry sometime this summer to make little things for fun
- Anything you’d like us to know -- we just moved to Wisconsin last year when DH got out of the military and we moved into our forever home when it was done being built in October. It's so nice having space and land after being so crammed in western Washington before!
- Where are you located? San Francisco Bay Area, although I actually live closer to the Monterey Bay
- Spouse, Partner, Kids, or Furbabies? H and I are HS sweethearts. We've been together for 16 years, married for 8.5. DD1 is 2 (Oct. '17), and we have one tuxedo cat and one calico.
- What do you/partner do for a living? We both work in education. I'm a high school music teacher and he is the IT director for the next school district over.
- Hobbies, things you are really into, etc. Obviously lots of music in my life... work keeps me busy even in the evenings and on weekends, but I also try to do as much choral and musical theater singing as possible, and H and I are on the worship team at our church (he plays guitar and I sing). We also love hiking/backpacking/camping and following our local sports teams and politics.
- Anything you’d like us to know: It's hard for me to be super active during the work day because I'm constantly "on" while teaching and my classes rarely have independent work time built in. Also, usually by the time I'm done teaching for the day (3:45 CA time), most of the rest of you are eating dinner and putting your kids to bed, and by the time I do those things myself and am ready to chat, it's bedtime on the East Coast. But I will try my hardest to be active and participate, since I found a lot of value in my first BMB and would love to be part of a similar community this time around.
- Where are you located? Rural NH
- Spouse, Partner, Kids, or Furbabies? My husband (39) and I (34) have been together for 11.5 years, married for 6.5, our son turned 3 in Nov., and we have 1 dog (she will be 1 next month)
- What do you/partner do for a living? I'm an engineer and a manager at a manufacturing company, and MH is a courier.
- Hobbies, things you are really into, etc. What's a hobby? Haha, ever since becoming a mom there isn't a ton of time for hobbies and I barely feel like I have time for things I like to do, but generally speaking I like sewing, wine and craft beers, cooking, and occasional crafting. We moved up here after we got into kayaking. We also like to go out on the pontoon boat as much as possible in the (short) summer months.
- Anything you’d like us to know I'm originally from Boston, and we moved up here 6.5 years ago a month after getting married. I love it here, but could deal with maybe a month less of winter/cold. We had very little trouble GKU with DS1, but then it took us 14 months and *TW* 2 losses for this pregnancy *TW*. I was pretty active on TTGP prior to coming over here, and they were my safe space and my lifeline. I feel like I owe those ladies more than I could ever repay for getting me through those dark days. We're team blue for this one, but no one outside of TB knows that. To everyone else, we're team green.
ETA more things I forgot
Married Sept. 2013
DS1: Nov 11, 2016
MMC: 11/16/18 (9w6d)
CP: 2/3/19 (5w3d)
BFP! 8/24/19
DS2: May 10, 2020
- Where are you located? Far north Illinois, closer to Wisconsin than Chicago. Semi-rural
- Spouse, Partner, Kids, or Furbabies? DH and I met 14 years ago, started dating 9 years ago, and married 4.5 years ago. DS born June '16, DD born Aug '18, 10 year old mini dachshund, and a 2 year old pitbull.
- What do you/partner do for a living? SAHM with a couple side gigs I've done over the years. Husband is a data analyst and an aerospace auditor.
- Hobbies, things you are really into, etc. Well, I used to own and ride horses, but too broke, and too broken now. We used to rock climb, but ditto. I love hiking, camping, and running, so between pregnancies we've done a bit of that, but can't start up until minimum 6 months postpartum. I do like to read, so that helps and we're pretty big board game geeks. My husband also games on his computer, but I can't get into that. We do some made-for-kids video games on console though. Like Mario, Mario Kart, Spyro, etc. Getting excited for our 3.5 year old to be ready to join on those.
- Anything you’d like us to know? I have such a badly busted up pelvis that I'm getting a walker this week. We're broke in general, so it's really hard for me not being physically able to do much, as indoor winter things to do out of the house cost money, or require too much walking. I'm a homebody, but still like to do things a couple times per month, but right now I can't even get kids to the library, a play date, or the grocery store. Youngest isn't walking yet, so that complicates everything!
eta-this is definitely our last, 3 kids in 4 years plus pregnancies breaking me means we need to be done. Our three will be the only grandchildren on both sides, as our collective 3 siblings do not want children.
DH: 32
Married 7/18/15

2nd born at 38+6 on 8/30/18

Due with #3 on 6/6/20 Team Green
- Where are you located? Just outside Gettysburg Pennsylvania
- Spouse, Partner, Kids, or Furbabies? Just married this year in September after dating for 3 years and being engaged for a year and a half. We found out we were pregnant on my birthday 2 weeks before the wedding😂 It was a bummer to skip the champagne toast. This will be our first human child but we have a lab/coonhound mix named Kenobi, an orange tabby Calcifer, and a bearded dragon named Gwynn.
- What do you/partner do for a living? DH is a machine operator at a local factory working 2nd shift. He is also studying part time for networking and cyber security. I was a manager at a gamestop before I started working on my masters in Anthropology. I will be a SAHM for at least the duration of my studies.
- Hobbies, things you are really into, etc. I really enjoy craft things. Most recently I picked up sewing and macrame. My cousin owns a little boho store and I figured I could try to make a little side money selling macrame wall hangings. Both DH and I are also big video game enthusiasts.
- Anything you’d like us to know? This will be the first grandchild on either side of our families. My parents are a lesbian couple and let me tell you having THREE grandmas to be anxiously awaiting their first grandchild is fairly exhausting haha.
- Where are you located? Denver, Colorado
- Spouse, Partner, Kids, or Furbabies? My husband and I have been together for almost 10 years - married for 3. We have a four year old son, Ezra and a 9 year old German Sherphard mix, Chewbacca.
- What do you/partner do for a living?
I teacher high school English (11th grade AP Lang and American Lit)
MH is an Occupational Therapist - he works at a hospital in acute care and short term rehab
- Hobbies, things you are really into, etc.
MH and I both really enjoy snowboarding, camping, hiking, and just being outside. I also really like binge watching the same shows over and over, watching movies, and reading. Uhhh other than that..I really like old school indie music and early 2000s midwestern emo music and we spend a lot of our date nights going to shows or music festivals. Our 4 year old's favorite band is The Talking Heads if that tells you anything. I'm looking forward to getting to know everyone better!
- Anything you’d like us to know
I'm originally from New Orleans, LA and both sides of my family are all from there, so I'm pretty culturally cajun and have a lot of pride in my city. We have our Mardi Gras flag flying in front of our house here in Denver and my dad just flew in from New Orleans last night and brought some King Cake! I mostly grew up in Texas though - between Houston and San Antonio. My Husband is from Chihuahua, Mexico and we are trying to raise our kids bilingual (Unfortunately though, DS is pretty opposed to speaking any Spanish). We moved to Denver about 2 years ago and have been living with my parents (they moved here about 10 years ago). We are currently house hunting though and hopefully will find something soon enough to get settled before baby #2, but if not - fortunately my parents have enough space for us and it's generally pleasant to live with them.

Spouse, Partner, Kids, or Furbabies? H and I got married May 2019. Our original plan was to wait and start trying to have a baby after being married a year but then we said screw it (lol) and here we are. We have been together for 5 years, but dated long distance for the the first 2 years of our relationship. We met at a club in Las Vegas - he lived in SoCal and I lived in NorCal but we just clicked. We have a 12 year old mini daschund who enjoys sleeping all day. She was originally MH's dog but now he says she likes me better.
What do you/partner do for a living? I work at a university in student services, H is an engineer.
Hobbies, things you are really into, etc. +1 for the homebodies. I love to read or just watch TV with a glass of wine. H and I are also nerds, we got married on star wars day (May 4) and had bb8 and r2d2 cake toppers.
Anything you’d like us to know: we were both hoping to be back in CA before baby comes as we have no family up here. It still might happen but the timing is getting to be extremely inconvenient.

- Where are you located? PA
- Spouse, Partner, Kids, or Furbabies? Husband and two kids- 4 and 6.
- What do you/partner do for a living? SAHM, but mainly because it’s is very hard to get a job in my field in the area I am in. And any other job wouldn’t be worth it after paying for daycare. I do some part time work from home things.
- Hobbies, things you are really into, etc. With 2 kids, my hobbies are whatever they are into. I used to love to read, but don’t have much time for it anymore.
- Anything you’d like us to know? This is definitely the last child! I would not want more than 3, but also this pregnancy has been so much harder than my previous two.
- Where are you located? Rural NH close to the Canadian border (to put things in perspective the Canadian Walmart is closer than the US one)
- Spouse, Partner, Kids, or Furbabies? My husband and I started dating in college when he went back to get a teaching degree. I was 20 and he was 32. We were together for 10 years before getting married and had our daughter 10 months later, she will be 2 right about the time this one is born. We had two great black labs one who passed when I was pregnant with DD and shortly after DD was born.
- What do you/partner do for a living? We are both math teachers. He teaches middle school math, and I teach high school math mostly dual enrollment courses so my students get college as well as their high school credit.
- Hobbies, things you are really into, etc. Like others have said since DD was born hobbies took a back burner to child rearing and picking up the same toys 12 times a day. Before her I loved sewing projects (my poor kid hasn't even gotten a quilt yet), cooking, hiking and gardening. I used to volunteer at a small historic homestead caring for the kitchen garden and giving tours. I loved canning what I grew and gave our canned jellys for our wedding favors.
Now my biggest hobby comes down to researching things about childbirth, child rearing, and homesteading. I love to research things and share information that I have learned. I really enjoying talking cloth diapers and getting people to join the dark side of cloth diapers.
- Anything you’d like us to know
TW* pregnancy complications
Before DD we had a MMC due to a blighted ovum. with DD I was told at a 6 week ultrasound when I had some bleeding that she had no heartbeat and I was going to have a miscarriage, I went back at week 7 and asked for an US because the bleeding had lessened and I was having more symptoms before scheduling what to do next and we found her heartbeat. With this one I was told it was a molar pregnancy and a D&C was scheduled until a larger hospital told me to come see them first before making any decisions. They gave me a list of many things "it could be" but was not a molar pregnancy turns out we're now at a point where they don't think there anything wrong and that it was just an irregularly shaped placenta. So we'll see what happens from here on out.
- Where are you located? Central Ohio
- Spouse, Partner, Kids, or Furbabies? DH and the cutest spaniel dog ever!
- What do you/partner do for a living? We met at work so we are a SUPER FUN CPA and auditor combo ;-)
- Hobbies, things you are really into, etc. I love to travel (state #40 next month!!!) and camp on the weekends and reading and crafting (scrapbooking, sewing, cross stitch) anytime I can.
- Anything you’d like us to know First baby for us and first baby in the family. I don't know anything about kids so i have really enjoyed absorbing/ needed all the information the STMs and everyone have been giving. THANKS!

- Hobbies, things you are really into, etc. Sleep, reading, crocheting, perusing Netflix for hours and eventually just re-bingeing West Wing or Parks & Rec, plotting my eventual takeover of the PTA

Husband(38) and I(34) have been together for 15 years and this year will be 9 years married. We have 3 daughters, ages 7, 3 almost 4, and 2. No pets, but they all have been begging for a dog forever.
- What do you/partner do for a living?
SAHM for the last 2 years. I was previously a middle school math teacher. My husband is a Linux Systems Administrator.
- Hobbies, things you are really into, etc.
My husband and I used to enjoy going to the movies every week and golfing daily(he still does) before kids. Now, we love to spend time outside exploring new parks, swimming, etc, but we are mostly homebodies. We also love to read when we have time.
- Anything you’d like us to know
This is our last child and will be the last grandchild on both sides. I'm hoping for a boy this time, but husband wants another girl. He feels like he has this girl dad thing figured out and is frightened by change haha
- EDD (Estimated Due Date) May 12th, baby girl
- Where are you located? Maryland
- Spouse, Partner, Kids, or Furbabies? H and DD, who is 18 months.
- What do you/partner do for a living? I work in education. H is a web developer.
- Hobbies, things you are really into, etc. We like to go to local parks with the kiddo, hang out in the backyard, have friends over for snacks or brunch, watch the world go by with DD and spot people walking dogs from our front window, try new Instant Pot recipes, and watch comedies in the evenings on Hulu or Netflix with a good beer (when I’m not pregnant) or ice cream. I guess we have kind of become homebodies. I used to be pretty into running and H and I liked to go on bike rides. We used to also visit a lot of local breweries and go on hikes. Hopefully we will get back into that stuff as the kiddos get older.
- Anything you’d like us to know Sometimes I want to participate and can’t get the bump app to work / bump pages on my phone to load. Wish their tech people would fix this stuff!
May 29. Despite this, I have had a strong feeling like he will be here in June!!
- Where are you located?
Central coast of California☀️
- Spouse, Partner, Kids, or Furbabies?
DH and I married March 2019, been together for 4 years and met doing what we both love most, working with animals. We adopted our adorably obnoxious cat, Milo, a month after we started dating, so to say the least I knew they both were the ones for me.
- What do you/partner do for a living?
I work at a Vet Clinic as a tech assist/pet groomer/kennel tech. I love having flexibility within my work to have my days be different. DH works at an ER pet hospital, our jobs are similar but his facility sees the more serious condition cases.
- Hobbies, things you are really into, etc.
I love music and listen to every genre. Within the past few years I've really found my center with an amazing community of people who share my musical interests, natural ideas for being better to our environment and bodies, and art/creativity. Think hippie festival/burning man, but make it family-friendly and carry it out into daily lifestyles. It's pretty incredible what we can all create when collaborating and working together.
- Anything you’d like us to know
Feeling baby kick and move around in there makes me so happy and excited. Although this is my first, I've done plenty of nannying and babysitting so I know what I am in for. I seriously can't wait for this little boy, to teach him, for him to push and test me to my limits then turn around and teach me too. I'm so stoked its finally my turn.
@m6agua I have a degree in graphic design but do nothing with it!
@soprano19 I had a tuxedo cat for 17 years! They're such beautiful cats!
@thepretzelchick Omg. Lol. Precious crotch fruit! 😂
EDD (Estimated Due Date): 5/17, team pink!

- What do you/partner do for a living? I'm a HS teacher and DH is the stay at home parent. He does work part time in the evenings teaching at the college level.
- Hobbies, things you are really into, etc.
I feel like I used to be more interesting before DD and work took over my life. School takes up a lot of my time. I do love baking and decorating baked things. DH and I are both the creative type so we do get into a lot of projects. I love to travel and hope to give DD1 and 2-to-be an appreciation of the world and different cultures. We've of course taken a hiatus but DH and I love wine or cider tastings.
- Anything you’d like us to know
My work day can go from 0 to 60 in a second. Somedays it feels like I'm on TB too much and other days I can't get a second to check in. I have some intense days at work as far as student behavior goes and it takes it's toll but I do love my job!
- Where are you located? Upstate NY
- Spouse, Partner, Kids, or Furbabies? DF and I have been together 7 years and have an awesome 6 year old who keeps me on my toes. We also have a chiweenie and fat orange cat.
- What do you/partner do for a living? I am a Care Coordination Manager, which basically means I work with individuals with disabilities and help them and their families create plans and get services to help them live as independently as possible and as in the community as they would like. DF works in landscaping.
- Hobbies, things you are really into, etc. I used to ride horses competitively but time doesn't really allow for this anymore. I guess going to DS sports are my only hobby anymore lol. I guess school is a hobby as I am working on Master's.

- Anything you’d like us to know. I read most everything on here (I won't touch the childcare thread because the thought makes me anxious) and try to love tit a lot. I often think of comments as I'm reading through but by the time I get to the end it's too overwhelming to attempt to go back and tag/actually leave my comments. I wish I could keep up more consistently throughout the day, but I work in a communal office and days can be very busy.
I will say @thepretzelchick crotch fruit cracked me up haha
- Where are you located? Philadelphia suburbs (@lisush neighbors soon?!)

- Anything you’d like us to know This is our first baby and I’m getting more excited every week. DH is beyond ecstatic. He’s been ready to be a dad for many years, but I needed more time to be mentally prepared. Also, I moved to MH’s home town and all my friends have also moved around the country so I don’t have any real friends near me, so this group is my “friends” now.
- Where are you located? Connecticut

- What do you/partner do for a living? I'm an engineer turned business development (sales) for additive manufacturing (3D printing with metal for aerospace/defense). My husband owns a construction company and does real estate on the side.
- Hobbies, things you are really into, etc. DH and I are way into over improving our house (but we do it all ourselves), and love some good DIY projects. I like to craft & cook when I have time, but with 2 kids and working full time, it doesn't happen as often as I like. currently im just trying to find the energy to get through my boys baby clothes and its taking me a week.
- Anything you’d like us to know. When I have slow days at work I'll post a ton, and then I'll practically disappear when i'm traveling for work because there is just too much going on. Either way, I want to stick around, get to know all of you girls, and hopefully form friendships that will last quite a while!
- Where are you located? Just north of NYC in the Hudson Valley

- What do you/partner do for a living? I just changed roles in a biotech company, now working as an alliance manager and my husband is a SAHD, but is recently coaching middle school part-time. I think eventually he will pursue his passion for teaching full-time.
- Hobbies, things you are really into, etc.: A+1 with all of the STM+ moms, it’s hard to work, spend time with the kiddos and then have time for a hobby. As a family, we enjoy traveling, both domestic and internationally. We also try to fit in a few hikes when the weather is nice. I enjoy making puzzles, but I am super bad at framing them afterwards.
- Anything you’d like us to know: I have been trying to keep up with the BMB, but it has become hard to be as active, I am sorry, I can’t join every check in or thread. I do like to follow some of the conversations but by the time I join I am 40-50 messages behind. Also the app has been awful lately, I am using my IPAD now, seems to work well here. Thank you all for all of the support, laughs and camaraderie!

Spouse, Partner, Kids, or Furbabies? MH and I have been married for almost 3 years; it's a second marriage for both of us. We each had a 17 year old and a 15 year old from our first marriages so we are truly starting over (3 girls and a boy). Both college and daycare to manage next year. Also 4 cats; we each had 2 before combining our households.
What do you/partner do for a living? I'm a manager of software engineers, MH is a manager of software designers. I have the more stressful job; MH will be the more available parent for these babies.
Hobbies, things you are really into, etc. I used to really enjoy seeing live music with friends, doing yoga, and hiking, but since getting pregnant I'm really not up for much other than movies. I hope my energy level comes back at some point.
Anything you’d like us to know: I have a really long commute so I'm mostly only available for TB on the train in the morning and evening.

- What do you/partner do for a living? I’m an elementary school teacher. I just finished my admin degree and will be taking the certification tests in the next couple weeks. My husband is in finance.
- Hobbies, things you are really into, etc. I love baking. We moved into our new house in August and we found out the day before move in so first trimester turned me off to baking anything. Now I’m finally getting used to my new oven. I’ve burnt a few cookies testing it out, but the birthday brownies came out great for tomorrow’s celebration!
- Anything you’d like us to know This is my first baby. The first grandchild on both sides as well. I said to my husband I’ve always babysat or hung out with my friends babies, but this one is all ours and we just can’t wait!
- Where are you located? Long Island, NY

- What do you/partner do for a living? I'm a SAHM and DH is a software engineer in NYC.
- Hobbies, things you are really into, etc. I'm living a pretty boring life these days since DS started preschool, mainly binge watching old reality TV shows and getting ready for this new little one. I'm very curious as to how people have more than one kid, I assume it's possible since most people do it but it feels so foreign to me especially on days like today when DS was very demanding and needed a lot of attention.
- Anything you’d like us to know I lurk on here a lot more than I post mainly because I don't feel like I have a lot of interesting things to say
where I’m located: Canada’s capital (Ottawa)
family: husband and two girls ages 2 and 4, and a dog
for a living: we actually own a beer company and are trying to move forward with building our own brewery. Which is why I’m not on here much lately, I’m pretty occupied and also home with both kids full time.
Hobbies: I’m a DIY’er and our house has a lot of projects. Back when I had actual free time I liked to sew.
Anything I’d like you to know: hmmm?
