Let’s do another all group check in until we get the rest of our September mamas in here and then we can figure out the formatting for the due date weeklies.

How are you feeling/Symptoms?
Raves/Rants:
Questions:
GTKY: if you could live anywhere where would it be and why?
Re: Check-in w/o 1/20
Team Finding Out/Pink/Blue/Green: probably finding out at anatomy scan
Baby is the size of a(n): apple seed/lavender bud
Upcoming appointments: 2/3
How are you feeling/Symptoms? I’m actually feeling really good right now which I’m thankful for. My cramping has mostly subsided unless I really over exert myself but it’s not as common as it was earlier on. I feel my worst in the middle of the night. I’ve been having to pee overnight too. Random nausea every once in a while but not too bad yet. I’m anticipating it to get a lot worse. right now what’s noticeable is sore boobs, especially when I wake up. Acne is bad, fatigue, and hunger more often.
Raves/Rants: rave: finally getting plans into motion that will hopefully help the stress I've been having lately.
Questions: when did the nausea start for you?
GTKY: if you could live anywhere where would it be and why?
Team Finding Out/Pink/Blue/Green: going to find out during the AMA bloodwork
Baby is the size of a(n): Sesame seed
Upcoming appointments: confirmation ultrasound on 1/28
How are you feeling/Symptoms? Still somewhat crampy, although it has gotten better in the past couple days. My hips hurt slightly (darn relaxin) and I have been consistently nauseous for the past 2 days although no vomiting yet.
Raves/Rants: rave: despite having 4 kids at home this weekend was actually pretty relaxing and I feel like I got some rest
Questions: when did the nausea start for you? The nausea has been consistent for 2 days. I have started keeping crackers by my bed and eating a few before I get out of bed and that helps some.
GTKY: if you could live anywhere where would it be and why?
7+5
Team Finding Out/Pink/Blue/Green:
We are on the fence. This is our last and we’ve never been Team Green before, but I’m also a fool and sold all of our son’s stuff when we found out we were having a girl. And lucky for me we had another girl after that! Apparently we don’t really know when we are “done” having kids. Ha! So.. we will see.
Baby is the size of a(n):
Raspberry or uncooked macaroni noodle
Upcoming appointments:
30th to keep a watch on baby (RPL past, unfortunately)
How are you feeling/Symptoms?
Not very good. Nauseated and then when I’m hungry nothing sounds good.. horrible migraines, exhausted.
Raves/Rants:
My husband mistaked our last baby’s infant seat for our child’s before that and thought it was expired......... wrong seat. And he clipped the straps before putting it in the trash. Fortunately you can buy new straps, but honestly?? Goodness gracious!
Questions:
Anyone else having occasional pelvic discomfort? Is this a stm+ thing? I do remember it with my last but wondering if it’s just me...
GTKY: if you could live anywhere where would it be and why?
Santa Barbara, CA I just would love that weather and environment every day. I live in the Midwest and we can only COMFORTABLY be outside guaranteed May-Sept. And some years we’ve gotten a foot of snow in May. My mental health could just use year round decent weather! Cost of living would kill us there though.
Team Finding Out/Pink/Blue/green: Finding Out
Baby is the size of a(n): Almost a raspberry
Upcoming appointments: 2/3 dating ultrasound. Still two weeks away. 😩
How are you feeling/Symptoms? Like exhausted garbage. Nauseous, hungry, simultaneously sweating and freezing, sore boobs, periodic vision issues and exhausted. Also emotionally I am feeling pretty frustrated with how crappy I feel. Resting this much is making me stir crazy. This is significantly worse than my prior two pregnancies. It will pass though and overall I am excited.
Raves/Rants: I am sick of feeling sick. My husband has been a saint taking the lions share of the work at home despite being overwhelmed at work currently.
Questions: Those that felt crappy in previous pregnancies, when did it subside?
GTKY: if you could live anywhere where would it be and why? I will always want to be near my family, so where ever they are. If I can relocate everyone then somewhere that isn’t too hot or too cold. Michigan summers are very lovely, but humid and winters are longer than I would prefer.
DS2 5/17
#3 Due 9/20
Team Finding Out/Pink/Blue/Green: probably finding out
Baby is the size of a(n): sweet pea
Upcoming appointments: first appointment is 2/6 it feels so far away!
How are you feeling/Symptoms? Sooo exhausted. And nausea is kicking my butt this time! I never had it with my other pregnancies.
Raves/Rants: I am extremely bloated and already look super pregnant! This would be fine with me if I wasn't trying to hide it from my 6 year old daughter. She already experienced the death of her brother and I cannot bear to break her heart again if anything happens to be wrong this time. I HATE having to hide it though.
Questions: moms with 3+ kids when did you start showing with your 3rd+ pregnancies? I know it's just bloat but I cannot believe how pregnant I look!
GTKY: if you could live anywhere where would it be and why? Upstate NY or Idaho. Both so beautiful with 4 real seasons!
Team Finding Out/Pink/Blue/Green: Finding out
Baby is the size of a(n): peanut m&m, raspberry
Upcoming appointments: I have to make an appointment for another US to confirm the date
How are you feeling/Symptoms? tired AF. the unisom/by combo is wiping we out. Thirsty all the time even though I am constantly drinking water. metallic taste, vivid dreams, insomnia despite the unisom, very dry nose.
Raves/Rants: trying to just take this pregnancy day by day end enjoy it while it's just me and DH who know- before everyone starts asking questions and making plans and giving us unwanted advice.
Questions:
GTKY: if you could live anywhere where would it be and why? I would either live in London- lived in the UK for a few years as a kid and would love to live there again. Also, somewhere in the PNW Seattle, oregon, Vancouver. DH and I honeymooned on Vancouver island and we just loved it so much. Gorgeous place!
@chasingroygbiv ugh, I would be so annoyed if DH did that! I am definitely having pelvic pain and RLP early this time around-especially when I go to stand up.
@Louise_Belcher the sick feeling stopped for me after 12w , but the exhaustion didn't end until about 16w
@greyl @emki1230 nausea started right at 5w for me.

Team Finding Out/Pink/Blue/Green: finding out
Baby is the size of a(n): sweet pea
Upcoming appointments: on Friday for our first ultrasound 😬
How are you feeling/Symptoms? Nausea, exhaustion, mild cramping, pulling feeling in my belly
Raves/Rants: just that my symptoms all feel magnified this time around. I'm sure I won't be able to keep this from my coworkers for long despite my want to.
Questions:
GTKY: if you could live anywhere where would it be and why?
The Netherlands. We visited some of my family there a few years ago and both fell in love with the country.
@greyl queasiness was my first sign that I was pregnant lol. With DS I think I was about 5-6 weeks before it really started
W born September 2020
#3 due November 2022
Team Finding Out/Pink/Blue/Green: definitely team green. Did it with the first and it was fun to have people guess and it was fun to be surprised.
Baby is the size of a(n): ladybug
Upcoming appointments: Feb 3. Longest 2 weeks ever.
How are you feeling/Symptoms? So nauseous. Emotional. Some dizziness and still have cramping every once in awhile which freaks me out.
Raves/Rants: my DD who used to be the dream sleeper has turned into a nightmare. Had the worst night ever a few nights ago and I think she got about 3 hours of sleep total. Still dealing with the fallout from that. She’s afraid of everything and wakes up in the middle of the night scared. She has three nightlights and so many comfort items and nothing helps.
Questions: none
GTKY: if you could live anywhere where would it be and why? Well I live in Colorado and love it but I wish I could be closer to my family. So anywhere that I could be with family. My brother lives in Utah so not too far. Just need to get my parents out here closer.
Team Finding Out/Pink/Blue/Green: finding out
Baby is the size of a(n): sweet pea? Lady bug? I dunno
Upcoming appointments: blood work on Friday, in person appointment on Monday.
How are you feeling/Symptoms? None really, just insomnia.
Raves/Rants: I’m good
Questions: nope
GTKY: if you could live anywhere where would it be and why? I love where we love (SoCal), I’m born and raised here and all my family is here, but I’d like to live somewhere else once. East coast? Abroad? I dunno, just something different.
Team Finding Out/Pink/Blue/Green: Finding out
Baby is the size of a(n): poppy seed
Upcoming appointments: none scheduled yet
How are you feeling/Symptoms? Starting to not feel so great. Smells are really strong lately and it makes me feel a little nauseous. Exhausted. Cramping has subsided a bit.
Raves/Rants: I can’t think of anything
Questions: none
GTKY: if you could live anywhere where would it be and why? Carmel, California. So beautiful up there and the weather is great. Would love to live on the coast and have an ocean view. If only. Haha
Team Finding Out/Pink/Blue/Green: I think we'll find out at the anatomy scan
Baby is the size of a(n): Playing die (this is so amusing to me)
Upcoming appointments: 2/4, feels like forever away
How are you feeling/Symptoms? Sore boobs mostly, they hurt so bad. Exhaustion isn't as bad as it was the past two weeks, no nausea or morning sickness at all thankfully.
Raves/Rants: ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
Questions: Got nothing
GTKY: if you could live anywhere where would it be and why? I don't know, man. I really love my city and H + I haven't been crazy in love with anywhere else we've been. So I guess we'll stay in Texas
Team Finding Out/Pink/Blue/Green: green
Baby is the size of a(n): Appleseed
Upcoming appointments: nothing scheduled yet
How are you feeling/Symptoms? Crampy but otherwise fine
Raves/Rants: I ordered some pregnancy dress pants from motherhood and they are terrible...basically just baggy thing legs with a belly band. I can’t believe it.
Questions: none
GTKY: if you could live anywhere where would it be and why? Alaska or Seattle...I love the cold, mountains, water etc.
Two Furbabies: Mika (american eskimo) and Gypsy (wire-haired terrier, dachshund mix)
Twins: Kaiden and Zara born 10/2018 conceived after 6 years of infertility via a medicated IUI
@chasingroygbiv I have a lot of pelvic cramping and sharp pain that I don’t remember having with the twins. I had a csection so I think that might be part of it...but it’s definitely more pain the I remember.
@mandamomof3 I just had one pregnancy before (twins) but I feel like I’m already showing because I’m so bloated
@Louise_Belcher the nausea vomiting stopped at the beginning of third tri but then I had a lot of pain in my ribs because the babies were so big and running out of room and I couldn’t sleep from restless legs until I delivered. I remember the sleep after delivery being the best sleep ever lol. I’m hoping this pregnancy will be smoother.
Two Furbabies: Mika (american eskimo) and Gypsy (wire-haired terrier, dachshund mix)
Twins: Kaiden and Zara born 10/2018 conceived after 6 years of infertility via a medicated IUI
Team Finding Out/Pink/Blue/Green: Finding out. We didn’t with my daughter and it was AWESOME. I know my husband really wants a boy this time around so we are finding out because I told him that gender disappointment is ok and normal but I would absolutely kill him if I looked up after birthing our kid and he had a look of anything except joy. So needless to say, we will find out. Definitely recommend team green though if gender disappointment isn’t a concern for you!
Baby is the size of a(n): Sweet pea I think.
Upcoming appointments: 2/3 for dating scan. Sounds like quite a few of us have ultrasounds that day!
How are you feeling/Symptoms? Not too bad, just having to get back into the pregnancy mindset of not being able to do as much all day long like non-pregnant. And hormones hit me HARD every pregnancy so really enjoying feeling like I want to cry everyday even though nothing is wrong.
Raves/Rants: I Got pregnant with my daughter May 2018. Breastfed for about 8 months. Got pregnant before I finished breastfeeding. Lost the baby and it took 6 weeks for my numbers to go down and then got pregnant again right after. So I’ve basically had pregnancy hormones nearly constant since May 2018 and they make me SUPER moody, so I’ve basically been an emotional wreck for a year and a half. One day I’ll feel like a real person again....
Questions: Nothing that I can think of.
GTKY: if you could live anywhere where would it be and why? I think I would really enjoy experiencing life in another country but haven’t travelled enough to know where. Somewhere not too cold!
Team Finding Out/Pink/Blue/Green: Finding out, and I'd love to be team pink after three team blues
Baby is the size of a(n): jelly bean
Upcoming appointments: next week!
How are you feeling/Symptoms? ugh the nausea. can't drink coffee anymore. simultaneously hungry and gagging all day. each pregnancy has gotten worse for me!
Raves/Rants: i'm a person with an eating disorder so i struggle a lot with gaining weight. i stopped counting calories and threw out the scale when we started trying, and i'm struggling with being bloated and a little bit rounder in the belly. i KNOW that it's good for me and the baby to gain a few pounds (i was underweight) but it's still tough for me.
Questions: nope!
GTKY: if you could live anywhere where would it be and why? I would love to live in Costa Rica - i got a job offer there once and sometimes regret not taking it. But, I share custody of my three kids, so it would be just a little too far to see them as often as i like to.
DS2 2010
DS3 2014
DD born 8/24/2020!
Team Finding Out/Pink/Blue/Green: Finding out!
Baby is the size of a(n): eraser on a #2 pencil
Upcoming appointments: repeat ultrasound 2/5
How are you feeling/Symptoms? Feeling okay, honestly feel more anxious than pregnant. But my boobs are tender (and DH insists they’re bigger) and I’ve been feeling pretty tired. Which may be because I’ve been waking up an hour before my alarm with a bursting bladder.
Raves/Rants: How is one supposed to get to all their appointments and reduce occupational hazards while still not broadcasting to coworkers that you’re KU when it’s really early? I finally caved and told me chief and he was very sweet about it. I’m not sure he totally understood my anxiety about saying something early, but he said he would get me excused whenever I needed without letting everyone know why.
Questions: forgot to ask my RE if and when I graduate to General OB. But I’m trying not to get ahead of myself.
GTKY: if you could live anywhere where would it be and why? I’d love to move back to California just to be close to family. I’d also love to move to a tropical island somewhere but that seems less likely
EDD/weeks+days: 09.14 6+1
Team Finding Out/Pink/Blue/Green: Finding Out
Baby is the size of a(n): A Chocolate Chip
Upcoming appointments: 2.5 the longest 2 weeks ever.
How are you feeling/Symptoms? Nausea, fatigue, crazy vivid dreams, congestion (is anyone else just congested through their entire pregnancy?)
Raves/Rants: If I have to tell this toddler not to swing from my curtains one more time I might explode. I have serious regrets about his love for Spider Man and Indiana Jones. Thanks Husband.
Questions:
GTKY: if you could live anywhere where would it be and why?
I like where we live because we are close to our families and I’m a midwestern girl at heart.
I love visiting DH’s family in central Texas but I don’t think I would survive the heat.
I would love to try out somewhere like Salem, Massachusetts. Our hobby is exploring old cemeteries and they have some gorgeous ones out there. Plus I think the weather would suit me.

Team Finding Out/Pink/Blue/Green: Finding out fo sho
Baby is the size of a(n): Coffee bean!
Upcoming appointments: First ultrasound on 1/29. I'm so excited--I thought it would be later so I was happy I got that appointment.
How are you feeling/Symptoms? Grateful, anxious, tired, a little less bloated, a little more nauseous.
Raves/Rants: Too exhausted to do either
Questions: Will I ever stop farting?
GTKY: if you could live anywhere where would it be and why? I'm with @louise_belcher and @angbaby83 and just want to be where my family is. That's pretty much the only reason we've stayed in this area. And like @mandamomof3 I do like having every separate season (although increasingly it seems like fall and spring are shrinking...)
@scaron86 I feel you on the hormones! I was 10mo PP when we started TTC, got pregnant at 12m PP which ended in a CP, and then got my BFP in December, all the while I was exclusively pumping. I just weaned off the pump 3 weeks ago. To say I've been moody is an understatement!
Team Finding Out/Pink/Blue/Green: finding out
Baby is the size of a(n): poppyseed! Tiny nug
Upcoming appointments: Still need to find an OB
How are you feeling/Symptoms? Still feeling normal
Raves/Rants: I bought 2 boxes of Girl Scout cookies the other day and I’m currently eating them with a cup of tea. Almost makes up for not being able to have wine lol
Questions: Anyone else just keep taking pregnancy tests to make sure you’re still KU? I did this with my first too lol
GTKY: if you could live anywhere where would it be and why? Hmmmm maybe Paris. Or Hawaii.
DS born 9/24/2020
Team Finding Out/Pink/Blue/Green: Team Green. We found out with our last two pregnancies but since this will be our last one I cannot imagine a better surprise in life.
Baby is the size of a(n): waterbear (not sure what that is)
Upcoming appointments: 2/17 for ultrasound and 1st dr appointment
How are you feeling/Symptoms? Boobs are tender, vivid dreams, more tired than normal, TMI pooping more than normal 🤷♀️
Raves/Rants: I wish I could fall asleep easy. No matter how tired I am whenever I get the chance to sleep I just cannot fall asleep.
Questions: None at the moment.
GTKY: if you could live anywhere where would it be and why? Western or central Pennsylvania, we have visited friends and family up there and love how beautiful it is. However, I would not want to drive in the snow (especially all those crazy hills).
Team Finding Out/Pink/Blue/Green: finding out
Baby is the size of a(n): Apple seed
Upcoming appointments: In 3 weeks will have dating ultrasound
How are you feeling/Symptoms? Little nausea. Get tired easily from physical activity. Insomnia
Raves/Rants: signed for our new house yesterday! Moving all day today.
Questions: Any pris/cons of using a midwife? I didn’t have the option at my office last time but do now and am leaning towards that route this time
GTKY: if you could live anywhere where would it be and why?
So update...I got insurance and finally scheduled by ultrasound for 2/5 with a nurse intake on 2/11. I'm hoping it's not twins again (I love them but man they are exhausting and I'm old lol) but I kinda have a feeling it twins so we'll see.
Also, I've noticed that no one has responded to that one-off thread. I was going to post something about needing to introduce herself and not to post one-offs but I think ignoring it might be the way to go. In my last BMB it seemed like the majority of the time if anyone posted on one of those threads it turned into drama. How do you guys think we should handle them?
Two Furbabies: Mika (american eskimo) and Gypsy (wire-haired terrier, dachshund mix)
Twins: Kaiden and Zara born 10/2018 conceived after 6 years of infertility via a medicated IUI
DS born 9/24/2020
Team Finding Out/Pink/Blue/Green: we will find out!
Baby is the size of a(n): sweet pea
Upcoming appointments: Jan. 30
How are you feeling/Symptoms? exhausted... but I would prefer exhaustion to nausea, so fingers crossed
Raves/Rants: my doctors nurse called to tell me I had low progesterone and need to get on the supplements.. and said "Don't miss your next appointment" umm thanks.. not planning on it? if this was my first, I would have definitely been alarmed by the tone of the phone call, but have been through this before so.. yeah
Questions: not at this point.
GTKY: if you could live anywhere where would it be and why? If extended family wasn't a factor and it was just based on the place, Italy or France
If it bugs you not knowing the doctor, I'd ask your family physician to give you a name so you can at least go do a meet and greet.
