  • Hey there based off LMP 8/11❤️

  • Hey there! 8/11!
  • Hi! Based on lmp 8/15
  • Hi! EDD 8/13. I've been feeling great so far with barely any symptoms but that is likely to change in the next few weeks. I guess I've been pretty tired and sleeping more, but I'm so nervous for terrible morning sickness (a.k.a hyperemesis gravidarium) to strike again.
  • EDD 8/15
I’m exhausted, I’ve napped a ton. Night sweats followed by troubles going back to sleep. No morning sickness.

Felt fine until today. Today I felt like I got hit by a truck. Never been so tired and morning sickness is ramping up.

    Hey 2nd week ladies.

    EDD 08/10/2020

Tired, nauseated and boobs feel massive already (2nd pregnancy).
  • EDD 11th August
  • Hi all! EDD August 13.
Doing okay today. Have had nausea off and on for the past week and super sensitive breasts.
  • Hey all!! EDD 8/13. Overall I've felt alright. Not much of an appetite and a bit nauseated sporadically each day. What's impacting me most is the moodiness!! Goodness my fuse is short and I'm an emotional train wreck at the drop of a hat. I was never this way with my son 🙄
  • I'm going to try to bump this same post and get conversation started here for our group and see how it goes.
I am terrible at remembering people/names so I'm hoping to start with this little group.
GTKY: Could we maybe tell our occupation and which pregnancy and/or child this will be for you?

  • I am a speech therapist currently working part time in early intervention and an autism clinic.
This will be my third child! I have a 2.5yo boy and an 11 month old boy!
  • I’m in the education field. I have a 4 yo daughter.

  • @WishesSheCouldCook do you have summers off? If so are you excited for the extra long summer break this baby will give you or nervous that you won't be there to lay down the law at the beginning of the schoolyear?
  • I'm a Design & Technology and Food & Nutrition teacher of 11-16 year olds. I live in Birmigham, United Kingdom.

This will be my second baby I also have a 15 month old son and a husband of 3 years. The baby is due the same week as our anniversary which will be 4 years married and 10 years together as we got married on the anniversary of our first date. Fun fact: me and my husband went on our first date on Friday 13th.
  • @wife-and-mommy I do have summers off! I feel like i get the best of both worlds. I’m in a instructional coaching position after being in the classroom for 12 years. I feel a bit bad because we are a pretty small team and there is another girl who is due in June so our leaves could overlap if she takes time. It is what it is and it will work out. It’s definitely different from the first go round of leaving my classroom and sub plans!

  • Hey! I'm currently a SAHW and student. I was working in sales, but had to leave the toxic environment and decided to go back to school (online). I'm actually pretty glad I've been home since the nausea and fatigue are beating me up.

This will be our first child. (If you don't count our 2 dogs, 2 cats and hedgehog) 😋
  • @anxiouswife I love hedgehogs what is yours named?

  • I'm due 14/8 (Canadian, we put the day before month...)
I'm a middle school teacher and private music teacher.
This is our 3rd child. I'm hoping the nausea subsides soon but with my other 2 it only got worse in 2nd trimester...
  • @WishesSheCouldCook 😁 His name is Willy and he's a grouchy, old rescue hedgie.
  • I teach high school math, Algebra 1 and Calculus. Winter break has been amazing with the level of nausea and exhaustion I've had. I'm so thankful that our first day back is planning so I can try and get my feet under me before I have to see 150 freshman. I'm trying to get a job teaching from home. It's the same course but all online and would be so perfect with a new baby at home.

This will be baby 3 for us. I have two boys, 6 and 3 (4 in March). They are amazing and best friends but I think they'll be so excited once we tell them.
  • @anxiouswife he is so adorable! My boys love animals. We live on 15 acres and have chickens and dogs but that's a whole other level of cute.
  • @cornichonmam getting married on your anniversary is awesome! We almost did that, but then moved our wedding a month earlier so that we could honeymoon before I started work without having to mention needing time off in all my interviews for a new job.
@anxiouswife I'm glad you got out of the toxic environment. Leaving a toxic work environment a few years ago was one of the best decisions of my life! What are you studying?
@jwhite3116 would that position begin in August? That sounds tough with that many freshman! What kind of dogs do you have? I live in the country too!
  • @wife-and-mommy it would. Being due in the middle of August should hopefully let me get settled in them I can go out on maternity leave and then pick right back up. We have a Labrador retriever who is 2 and a golden retriever puppy who is 11 weeks.
  • @jwhite3116 Thank you! We live in the country too and did have chickens 2 years ago, but my husband was determined for them to be free range and they DEMOLISHED my flower beds. Lol! So, now they live on our friend's hobby farm.

@wife-and-mommy Ya, I definitely don't regret leaving that place!
I got my business diploma in 2017, and am now starting a graduate certificate in supply chain management. I should be able to get 2/3 of it done before baby arrives. I was looking for other work, but unfortunately had no luck, so I figured I might as well get more education. 😂
  • Hi there, I’m due 8/10. This will be our first and we’re very excited. I work in technology leading strategy and operations teams, but luckily we get 4 months for maternity leave. Congrats to everybody! Hope everybody has a healthy happy pregnancy!
  • Hi! I'm due Aug 15.

I'm feeling pretty good. Nausea and dizziness are my biggest complaint but meds are helping. So so tired....

This will be my 2nd child.

I'm in HR/Compliance. As the sole HR I'm not telling my work until I absolutely have to as my manager tried to fire the last pregnant person. I put an end to that but hope I dont have to fight for my own job...

@Hadassah5311 I am also from Canada!
  • @alleykat2020 that sounds so stressful! Is there any way to get an annual review type of thing with something written on how you're doing before you announce just for further protection? I'm sure working in HR, you have way more information than me!
  • @alleykat2020 isn’t that illegal? Not that it would stop a company. Hope things go well for you at work! That’s super stressful.
  • @newmama46 it's 100% illegal but who does HR go to when they are the only one. I'll fight it if I have to, but I really hope to not have the added stress!

@wife-and-mommy that's a good idea! Our review periods are at the beginning of April so hopefully I can keep it hidden until then! I've already made sure I have copies of any past reviews, and any emails that would back up my story just in case. Hopefully I'm just being a bit paranoid   :)
  • EDD 8/12
The biggest pregnancy symptom I have been dealing with is being super nauseous.
I work in IT. I have told one manager at work only because I have no backup and they have struggled to find anyone for the past 5 months and then tell me they found a candidate but they cant start until mid August. I told them by then I shut down the program since I will be out for 3 months.
This will be baby # 2. We started telling family and DS is excited so he has been telling everyone. We probably wont be able to keep it a secret for too much longer.
  • @wife-and-mommy When we started looking at dates we were not intending to get married on our annivarsary but in the end it was in the school holidays, it was a Saturday and we had enough time afterwards to go on honeymoon. So it would have been a shame not to. Also my husband has no excuse for forgetting the date.

@hadassah2020 My nausiea and sickness was worse in the second trimester too. I'm hoping it wont last untill 19weeks again this time but I don't have much hope :'( . If I can just avoid being sick on the way to work that would be great.
  • @cornichonmam I hope it doesn't last too long for you!  I'm finding it worst during the afternoon, the other times was the morning and getting to work was hard...I knew the Tim Hortons along the way really well...
  • Will you all be doing genetic testing and find out the sex? My provider said I could do the blood work next week. I have a request in to see how much OOP it will cost. My practice uses mat21

@WishesSheCouldCook We have chosen to not find out the gender. We don’t care whether the baby is a boy or girl
but that he or she is healthy. However, if you want to find out and the cost is palatable, why not.
  • I’m struggling a bit with fear of something not being “right” with the baby especially knowing that prior to 12 weeks things are so sensitive. Has anybody found ways to deal with this? I’m really looking forward to our 12 week appointment for the sanity check.
  • @newmama46 it’s a mind game I just have to remind myself to refocus. My faith is also helps me through those rough days

  • @WishesSheCouldCook we didn't find out the gender with our first 2 and I loved the moment I was told. I feel like we won't this time either but haven't decided yet.  Everything seems a bit unreal and uncertain (except the MS) because we haven't had any appointments yet...not are any scheduled.
  • @newmama46 and @hadassah2020 more power to you for waiting! We found out around 20 weeks with my daughter. We’ll find out again it’s just whether we do the testing or wait until the AS at the standard time.
