Hello..I'm considered high risk for multiple reasons primarily my weight but also high blood pressure that's maybe on average 120/60 so it's not medicated and swelling isnt horrible but is uneven so I'm being checked for DVT along my right leg this week.
I was curious if anyone had preexisting hip dislocation/pelvic tilt/arthritis issues and or urinary incontinence prior to pregnancy and had any issues during third trimester and labor? I'm worried because my hips have luckily not been dislocated any more than normal but both hip joints are basically screaming at me for most of the day and clicking more often when I walk. I'm at 32 weeks and barely able to walk, and seems like the biggest reason I cant sleep is because of the pressure on my hips when I lay on my side is causing pain. That and I feel like I cant stand properly anymore as if they're not aligned properly. I brought this up to the doctor and he had nothing to say except it was normal, my leg could fall off and he would still not be concerned about labor, is what he actually said to me, and hasnt offered any advice for relief since I'm allergic to tylenol and it's so deep that a warm compress doesnt help. And for the incontinence, I've had it for about a year prior to pregnancy with any sort of stress on bladder, and it's gotten to the point where I'm now leaking throughout the day, and a single cough will drain my bladder...I'm worried that this could get worse as well. Anyone had experience with this? He hasnt exactly discussed what he thinks my risks are other than fetal death and SIDS, and is generally short with me about my own health. Personal input would be great...and any advice on what to tell my doctor if I should bring it up again. I have looked at answers about these problems and understand that these issues are normal to an extent, so that I'm not necessarily worried about that, just feel dismissed when it comes to how to self medicate the pain. I'd mostly just like to know if anyone has experience with it prior to pregnancy and if they had any problems with their own health or baby's. Thanks. Sorry if any of this was confusing to read I can clarify
