do the D50 lenses work with the D80?

What about the batteries?

The lenses do.  Not sure about the batteries, though.  I would assume so.

I found the D80 body online for $299 w/free shipping.

I have to have my D50 looked at --- I think I fried the flash and it needs cleaning.  But if it's going to cost anywhere near that much, I'm just going to buy a new camera body.  (I'm so wasteful huh?!)
