Anatomy scan today at 19 w 1 d. Our little girl is measuring three days behind but everything looks great. Another appointment coming up in four weeks, since they couldn't measure the heart. She decided to hide in a weird position.

All good (and all boy) at my anatomy scan today! It was weird having to go solo but the tech let me FT DH and DD towards the end. Baby William was cooperative and photogenic and I’m feeling so relieved and grateful. ❤️
I love seeing everyone's ultrasound pics! It's just amazing that they can capture such distinct features. The imaging is just incredible. I did have a question (and it's probably a dumb one, but...), as a FTM... my husband and I are "team green" and are hoping to wait until birth to find out the sex. I have my anatomy scan on 4/8... will I be able to view the imaging without being able to tell the sex or is it pretty obvious to even an untrained eye? I plan to tell the tech and my doctor our wishes, and I'm hopeful that they'll just be able to manipulate the imaging to disguise the sex organs, but I was just curious how this actually works. I certainly don't want to miss the opportunity to see the baby!
whl1013 I believe they will tell you to close your eyes or look away when they get to that section. In my experience they spend time at every single section and then move on to the next. And they, or at least for me, ask if we know the sex already and/or if we want to know the sex.

@whl1013 I’m team green as well and had my anatomy scan 2 weeks ago. I never see the screen while the tech is doing her measurements. When it’s our turn to see baby, She’ll let me go to the bathroom then we call my husband in. At the A/S, I told her we didn’t want to know the gender. As @blackgirlmagic said, my tech also showed us individual areas of the baby at a time so we didn’t see anything in the potty area.
@whl1013 Definitely let the ultrasound tech know you don’t want to know the sex. It’s pretty common. It won’t be a problem, they’ll just tell you when to look away. We’re doing the same thing. It’s also not so easy to tell with an untrained eye. For my first two DDs I wanted to know the sex so I studied the screen intently and couldn’t tell a thing! My DH and I didn’t even notice the tech check for the sex at our scan with DD2, that’s how fast she did it!
Also, make sure to remind your dr/OB/midwife at your next appointment, that you don’t want to know the sex. They’ll likely go over the ultrasound results with you, and you don’t want them blurting out the sex (since the tech usually records it on the report).
As some of you may know, I was asked to go back for a 2nd anatomy scan due to not being able to get clear measurements of baby’s heart the first time. I had my 2nd A/S today and I’m happy to report baby’s heart is great and the tech was able to get all measurements today!! My little one was hiding behind the placenta (he/she still in breach position) but I was able to get one shot of this 22 week old babe. 💚
ugh! Can’t get my ultrasound to load, but we found out today that we’re having a boy! They weren’t able to get two scans so I have to go back, but everything they did see looks great and right on track!
19 weeks 3 days - Excited to share that we will be having a precious baby girl! 💞 Can't wait to meet this sweet girl come August time! She was a jumping bean with her feet above her head! She grabbed her toes which makes me hope she'll be a little ballerina like her Mommy was!
Baby boy finally cooperated during an ultrasound for the first time. They never tell me his weight tho🤷🏼♀️ They say everything is fine. This was on Tuesday at 22 weeks and 1 day. I hope his weight is fine. I don’t have another appointment with my ob till April 21. I will have to remember to ask. He’s so cute tho 💜

Slapped Cheek Syndrome. Lets hope I can avoid any other infectious diseases for
the rest of my pregnancy. I love this shot of the baby with their feet over their head.
Yall and your beautiful ultrasounds have me so jealous. I hope this little monster inside of me cooperates tomorrow. They have yet to behave for a single ultrasound.
Listen, I wouldn't call what we did today in there "cooperating" since I had to flip back and forth between both sides and I actually stood up off the table to jump up and down a couple of times, but we finally got all the pictures we needed, everything looks good, and I am HAPPY to say we are having another baby girl!
Had my anatomy scan today. Took a little while to get a decent picture, but we got all the photos that we needed! It was so wonderful to see this little baby moving around in there!
My A/S was yesterday. The hospital was a pretty surreal environment to be in. I won't go back in-person again until June, so the tech took her time getting all the shots she needed and checking everything out carefully. Everything looked normal. Thankful for a healthy growing babe in there!
I had my anatomy scan on Wednesday; it was so nice to see this little guy moving around and healthy! I didn't end up being able to take any video for DH because baby decided to stop cooperating halfway through and it took forever (and a little dancing and jumping around) to get all the images they needed. But since everything looks good we won't have to go to the "big hospital" for any additional scans!
I cropped a bunch because... maybe peen? Everything kind of looks like a penis in an ultrasound, lol.
