Win: I'm currently kicking ass at grad school. Pretty happy about that. 

Wine: Literally any sweet wine (and I will gladly take recommendations)

Whine: Doing the dishes after all the baking I do.

Win:  It's FW and I'm actually not too stressed, surprisingly.

Wine:  I love wine any time of the year... pinot grigio and rose are my faves.

Whine:  The crowds everywhere... and wrapping presents.  I love shopping and hate wrapping.  Hubs and I have a deal though that I do all the shopping and he does the wrapping.... he's better at it than I am anyways!

@ashaislurking Have you had Relax Riesling, or Bertrand Cote Des Roses Rose (my fave rose!)?

Win:  What are you winning at this week, or what is your week winning at?
I haven't spilled the beans to anyone personally that we are getting new hedgehogs. Funny considering I spent all of Thanksgiving saying we'll get one eventually thinking DH would still need a while. Nope Saturday 🙂

Wine:  What is your favorite alcoholic (or nonalcoholic) drink for the holiday season?
This time of year it's hot chocolate but I am still loving apple cider while working

Whine: What is your least favorite part of the holiday season?
Having to spend money on people. I feel like people get me so much and I'm just wondering if it's completely acceptable to spend $50 on people even if they spend way more. Also people who are like "I do not gift gift cards" annoy the hell out of me because hello I can tell you I shop here but I don't have an immediate need for anything from there so just gift me a damn gift card.

@inthewoods23 Yes, I would love some gift cards!!  I've found with my ILs that they don't like to give gift cards to stores, but are happy to for an experience, like the nail salon or spa.  So that's what I ask for now, go figure.

And so exciting you are getting new hedgehogs!!  Yay new family members!!

I'm back to work post-sickness, hoping to be illness-free for my 5k on Saturday! 

Wine:  What is your favorite alcoholic (or nonalcoholic) drink for the holiday season?
I'm all about the wine, cabernet sauvignon is my jam right now! 

Whine: What is your least favorite part of the holiday season?
Definitely wrapping gifts! MH is so good at it, so he does all of our wrapping, but I have to wrap his! His mom also has him wrap hers as well, and she'll put his gifts in another box for him to wrap his own!

Win:  so far I'm feeling not super crazy and anxious during this TWW. Feels good after being NUTS this time last cycle haha

Wine:  nonalcoholic: HOT CHOCOLATE   alcoholic: there's nothing quite like a great martini 

Whine: honestly I love everything about the holiday season. my only complaint is that the time between thanksgiving and new years always goes way too fast!

Win:  it’s insanely busy at work. But I’m managing to stay on top of it.

Wine:  I’m all about a good Malbec.  I’m also enjoying hot cider as my go to while not drinking during IUI cycle.  As a bonus most restaurants seem to have it so I find it’s a good option to order when we go out.  

Whine:  having to drive all over the state for family gatherings!  My MIL lives about 90 minutes outside of town and so does my dad, and not the same towns so two totally separate 3 hour round trips to get together.  Ugh.

I'm not really winning at much this week but TODAY I am listening to Hanson's "Snowed In" Christmas album - so that is a solid win in my book!

Wine:  What is your favorite alcoholic (or nonalcoholic) drink for the holiday season? I'm all about red wine... specifically cabernet sauvignon like my dear friend @mvt2003!

But, I am making a Christmas punch Friday night for my annual gingerbread making party it's Champagne, Ginger ale and Frozen Strawberries! Hopefully it turns out good!

Whine: What is your least favorite part of the holiday season? Trying to think of presents to buy everyone, especially for my parents!!

@kpearse99 Forgot to tell you, I looked for Dreaming Tree for Thanksgiving, and I don't think the store I go to most often sells it, will have to make a trip to the bigger store!

@kpearse99 I checked the website, and it looks like they do sell it at the bigger store (which is less conveniently located, since the other one is next to my grocery store! ) so I'll head over there soon!

I actually feel like I’m crossing off more things than I’m adding on my to do list! It’s a great feeling!

I love Cabernet Sauvignon on a cold night!! @mvt2003 @kpearse99 I knew I liked you ladies!  I also make a delicious eggnog for Christmas Eve!

The fact that tax season is right around the corner 👎

@gladmamma if you like sweet martinis at all I use gin (usually Bombay, but nothing cheaper than Seagrams), sweet vermouth, and lavender simple syrup with just a little bit of lemon drop. SO good!
@kpearse99 that recipe name has me dying!!
@bows22 I've been looking for a good eggnog recipe. My great grandmother never wrote hers down and no one else in my family makes it (or even really likes it).

Win:  What are you winning at this week, or what is your week winning at?  My husband got a new job! He won't have to worry about getting hurt at work again, this job is an R&D engineer, so a lot of sitting at the computer, and a little of tinkering with machines. 
My husband is basically a laid back Sheldon Cooper (they call him Sheldon at his current job, lol!) so this is a great fit. 
BTW - this is 100% what I am picturing. He's not allowed to tell me what he is doing (signed an NDA) but he smirked and said "that's actually not far off." #dreamjob #forhimnotme

My grandma and uncle both died on Christmas day. It's actually a really hard day for us as a family, but we have to act SUUUUUUUUPPPPPPEEEEEER happy for the kids. It sucks. Everyone is on edge, and someone ends up yelling, every year.
