Baby Size: cauliflower? Seems smaller than lettuce but whatever maybe it's not organic.
Upcoming Appts: towards the end of the month? I have a chiropractor visit this week but my back has surprisingly been feeling good.
Symptoms/Cravings: all the pepto "dismal" symptoms. Not having any cravings but a special aversion to turkey which made thanksgiving meh. Luckily we had a lot of pie.
Rants/Raves: We took DD to see Frozen 2 this weekend as a surprise (she didn't know what we were doing until the movie started) and had such a great time. She cuddled through the scary parts but laughed a lot during the funny parts and I love her laugh so much.
Today it is raining after a snowstorm and I'm the only one in the office today although the roads were not bad at all! So nice and quiet and ready to tackle these emails from my non-US colleagues who had to work last week.

Rants/Raves: So ready for 11:04 so I can have some water and food! Then I’m taking the rest of the day off for a good nap.
Questions: nope.
GTKY- What is your favorite winter/snow activity? (If you’ve never lived in a cold winter climate, what do you think you’d love?) We don’t get much snow but I love a bonfire when it’s colder.

GTKY- What is your favorite winter/snow activity? (If you’ve never lived in a cold winter climate, what do you think you’d love?) I love winter so much! My favorite activities are skiing and sledding and then coming inside and warming up with some hot cocoa by the fire.
@fallonpartyfor2 ooh I want to see that one, it looks like a fun movie! @leksiL glad you have a nice quiet office! @ibabyloveb87 enjoy the rest of the day off, hope you get a nice nap in
EDD/W+D: 28w3d Team: pink and blue Baby Size: ninetendos Upcoming Appts: has one this mlornin, Rhogam on Wednesday, next OB in two weeks, next MFM in 4 weeks. Whew! Symptoms/Cravings: really craving fruit and especially oranges/clementines, usually most before bed which is weird haha. Rants/Raves: the glucose drink was not nearly as bad as I was expecting it was pre-chilled and I chose fruit punch (vs orange, blech) Questions: nope GTKY- What is your favorite winter/snow activity? (If you’ve never lived in a cold winter climate, what do you think you’d love?) snuggling on the couch reading while it snows! Sledding is fun too!
Upcoming Appts: 12/24 for OB, 12/26 for ultrasound and MFM consult
Symptoms/Cravings: Apparently pumpkin pie too close to bedtime causes heartburn. I had a lot of low back pain last week.
Rants/Raves: Rants: Nothing that I can think of Raves: Thanksgiving was wonderful, DD was so great on Saturday when we got our tree and had to wait in a long line and when we went to an early dinner with friends, she loved decorating the tree yesterday
Questions:
GTKY- What is your favorite winter/snow activity? (If you’ve never lived in a cold winter climate, what do you think you’d love?) I love skiing and am sad to miss it this year. The best part of skiing is taking off your boots at the end of the day and having a cold beer!
Symptoms/Cravings: I just want to drink milk all the time.
Rants/Raves: I’ve developed some pretty awful carpal tunnel. I wake up crying in pain, and I can barely hold a pen.
Questions: none
GTKY- What is your favorite winter/snow activity? (If you’ve never lived in a cold winter climate, what do you think you’d love?) I enjoy sitting inside. 😂 I Love looking at snow, but I don’t want to be in it. I do enjoy taking pictures of my daughter in the snow.
@leksiL, we took my almost five year daughter to see Frozen 2. We all loved it, and she and I have been jamming out to the soundtrack in the car.
Upcoming Appts: Friday for Tdap and every 2 weeks now!
Symptoms/Cravings: still a major sweet tooth. We made brownies on Friday and it was heaven lol
Rants/Raves: Rant - I feel like I’m starting to get a little reflux after meals. I’m sure this is another thing attributable to pregnancy hormones!
Rave - my shower is Saturday so that’s exciting! Baby is kicking a lot which is comforting

GTKY- What is your favorite winter/snow activity? (If you’ve never lived in a cold winter climate, what do you think you’d love?)
I grew up in south Louisiana so not much of a winter there but my husband is from Denver and taught me how to ski 10 years ago (that was a labor of love) and I’ve loved it ever since!
My OB’s office saw me at 27w1d and my next appt is at 31w5d. I asked and they said they start every 2 weeks at 32 weeks. I can’t remember when I started with DD but I feel like with all your responses they start late.
@jvk2012 My OB started every two weeks at 28 weeks and will switch to every week at 36 weeks. However, I am in Canada so our standards might be different than American standards.
@nhh11 our shower is Saturday too! Part of me is excited and the other part is dreading it...I’m not big on having all the attention and I’ve gotten pretty sick of all the same questions that get asked over and over 😂 I also don’t want people touching my stomach either...
@jvk2012 - I'm 29 weeks and don't have another appt until 12/18 and THEN I go to an every 2 week schedule. Byt then starting 1/16 it's every week. I have my appts booked through my DD.
Me: 38, DH: 36 Married Jan 2008 DD Baby Bells born Dec 2016 5 lbs, 12 oz, 18" so in love Due with #2 Baby Arya EDD February 2020
Upcoming Appts: Thursday for 1hr glucose and general OB check in.
Symptoms/Cravings: pelvic aches and pains make rolling over in bed a RIDICULOUS endeavor. Still craving all the sweets.
Rants/Raves: Only 2 weeks left of my first Master's course!! I can't wait to be done. It's been so demanding that I haven't had time to focus on anything baby related. From mid-December onward my sole focus will be on preparing for baby's arrival.
Questions:
GTKY- What is your favorite winter/snow activity? (If you’ve never lived in a cold winter climate, what do you think you’d love?) I used to LOVE cuddling up inside with a big blanket and a glass or two of red wine (NOT a fan of the snow and cold). This year without the wine I'm pretty much in survival mode.
@fallonpartyfor2 I had mine Monday and was the same! So glad it was my day off because I took a nap AND was worthless in the couch basically the rest of the day!
@malloryfrommn, I was totally fine after mine this time and last time with my DD. I made sure to immediately eat a high protein snack though as soon as I was done.
I got out of my appointment, and went straight to a cafe for a hearty breakfast (didn't have time to eat before my appointment). Now off to work. FX everything looks good!
@malloryfrommn ugh I’m sorry! I’ll tell you I got through my 3 hour with a lot of social media, talking to my mom, and not looking at the clock. I hope it goes by fast for you!
Me:33 DH: 34 Married: May 2011 TTC #1: May 2015 DS: 10/20/2016 TTC #2: June 2019 #2 EDD: 2/20/2020
Thanks @jvk2012 and @ibabyloveb87! FX that one goes well!! It would be a bummer to have GD. I'm actually looking forward to the 3 hour break from work, lol. The final paper for my Master's course is due 12/15, so I plan to just work on that.
Symptoms/Cravings: My hips feel like they are falling out of place. So that's fun.
Rants/Raves: Got to see baby in a 3d ultrasound yesterday while waiting for my glucose blood draw. He's much cuter now that he is fattening up. Haha. Some of the 20 week ones were downright frightening. Get to see him again tomorrow for the last of the heart pictures. Hopefully the last anyway.
Took the day off since the only appt was in the middle of the day so I'm looking forward to bumming around the house since DD will be at school.
