Baby is the size of a(n): Puffin, cantaloupe, pomegranate, demi-baguette
Cravings/Aversions: Nothing out of the ordinary besides sweet drinks (pop, hot chocolate) that I usually have a much easier time resisting.
Upcoming appts: Tomorrow for a f/u A/S and monthly check-in. Feeling pretty good, so hopefully it'll be pretty wham, bam, thank you ma'am.
Rants/Raves: Had the best weekend at a mountain lodge about 1.5 hours away from home. Great hot chocolate, heated pool, hikes with sunny skies, huge fireplaces for lounging...I think I read like four books. I guess rant that I'm back IRL, haha.
Questions: Anyone have a great place to buy rugs? I feel like I need to stop buying them from IKEA.
GTKY: What kind of holiday shopper are you? (ie. Started already in June, wait until the night before, something in between?) Planner, but gift giving is one of my love languages. I'm pretty good at getting that one perfect thing for everyone, although I rarely pull the trigger on anything before Thanksgiving. I also keep a tight list and budget - definitely not an impulse buyer. Also experiences > stuff.

Upcoming appts: also none...I am waiting for my new doctor to call and schedule one. It's making me anxious!
Rants/Raves: Rave- I was very disappointed in having to switch doctors/hospitals but so far it has been a blessing. The hospital is much nicer and has many more labor tools available. And my new doctor has worked with my doula before, so that's encouraging!

GTKY: What kind of holiday shopper are you? (ie. Started already in June, wait until the night before, something in between?) Definitely a planner!! My love language is gift giving and I LOVE CHRISTMAS! I usually don't buy much before black friday, but I definitely have lists and things planned out.
@pdx2020 try amazon! I got our rug in our den from amazon and I love it. I just read a bunch of reviews before I pulled the trigger.

Rants/Raves: Rave: follow-up AS went well and we finally can stop worrying! Rant: baby girl is suuuuper low so that’s uncomfortable and sleep has been nonexistent. Tired. Always.

GTKY: What kind of holiday shopper are you? (ie. Started already in June, wait until the night before, something in between?) I used to procrastinate... until I met my husband. Now we order all gifts on Black Friday or Cyber Monday. So much less stressful!

Cravings/Aversions: Still craving sweets, although not as intense as before. Aversions to almost all meat
Upcoming appts: Today! Glucose screening in a few hours and an appointment right after. I've basically been eating carbs and sugar only for the last 2+ months so I'm a little nervous about the screening! Meeting with a different doctor in my practice today, so looking forward to that!
Rants/Raves: Rave- Feeling tons of baby movement and DH is feeling it too which is so fun! Also feeling good overall still but had a bitch of a charley horse the other night so I drank sooo much water yesterday to avoid another one.
Questions: Best pajamas for baby? I keep hearing that zipper over snaps is the way to go, but where can I find the ones that zip from the top down to the leg? Anyone have favorites?

We don't really buy presents for anyone (don't celebrate Christmas) but we are suckers for Black Friday/Cyber Monday/whatever online deals we can find! I always do a big Gap haul because their stuff is 50% off!

Rants/Raves: Not really sure if it's a rant or a rave. Little man is moving around a lot! DH got a few good kicks last night. Unfortunately, movement means less sleep at night, as that's when he moves the most!
Questions: Does anyone have good suggestions for larger-sized maternity clothes that are actually carried in a store? I've been shopping at Motherhood, and I'm just getting to the point where the XL pants are a little tight in the hips. I know I can order things online if I have to; I'm just curious to see if there's something I'm missing somewhere!
