@b_1029 cuties! I love the name Rue. 

I adopted Little Debbie four years ago when she was 6. No clue about her history but they referred to her as a “lowrider” because she prob has some Corgi or Dachshund in her. 😂 She’s perfect. But she doesn’t love Halloween.

We adopted our sweet Sophie in 2012, and she's just the best. She definitely had some prior abuse so is pretty timid and anxious, but she's been surprisingly very patient and tolerant with the tiny human who sometimes tries to terrorize her and/or steal her bed.

I am loving this thread and all the adorable pet photos! 

Here is my 7 y.o. dog Cotton. We adopted him a year and a half ago, so we don't know his whole story, but he clearly had not been taken care of in a while when they found him.

And my 10 1/2 year old cat Charlotte. I thought she would mellow out with age, but she just keeps getting louder!

Little Owen buddy. I found him on Facebook. Poor little fella had some trauma in his past home, but has really blossomed with us. He has the patience of a saint with my two girls, poor guy.

@surlyjaneausten pepper is the social one and is seriously so perfect with the kids. Our other cat, peppers sister, is still really sweet with the kid’s but doesn’t like the commotion. How old is your son?

Oh my goodness, love this thread. Beautiful furbabies. So...about 2 weeks ago I was over waiting on the trying to conceive thing and we went to a shelter and adopted a pitbull mix named Hades. He has definitely been abused and has a ton of anxiety but has already moved mountains. He bonded to me immediately, definitely a big ole baby who needs lots of cuddles. And today of course I found out I'm expecting a human baby. 😂 That's how it works I suppose.

I know I'm super late to this party, but thought I'd post my fur babies anyway! The top picture is Rocky, he is 8 months old and already bigger than our other dog! He's such a sweet boy who loves to play. The bottom picture is Maggie, we've had her for 4 years now and she is the sweetest dog ever. She thinks she's a lap dog and she's afraid of everything!

I have Margot, an almost 3 year old doodle, and a 10 year rottweiler named Ranger. They are so so sweet, and so so good.
