How old is/are your other kid(s)? DS is 4 and DD is 2
How is/are your kiddo(s) doing? Great! They are at a such fun age 90% of the time. I forgot how much whining happens around 2. Some communication but not enough so when she’s frustrated or mad, it is the end of the world.
What are you looking forward regarding adding to your family? I love the newborn phase so looking forward to sleepy baby snuggles.
What concerns do you have regarding adding to your family?
Are you planning do to anything different for this birth, or are you wanting a similar experience to previous birth(s)?
My births have never gone according to plan 😂 I try not to plan too much. I am still on the fence about an epidural after my experience last birth. I will meet with the anesthesiologist during our hospital tour and see how I feel. The plan is to still induce to control the birth as much as possible since I’m high risk and have a history of hemorrhaging. I’ll receive meds to control bleeding after birth and I made it clear I do not want to be pushed to walk around after I give birth before I feel physically ready. The nurses last time ignored me and I ended up fainting. Little things but hopefully I’ll feel more comfortable and in control.

How old is/are your other kid(s)? 2(27 months)
How is/are your kiddo(s) doing? Doing great. Learning so much. We're attempting to potty train starting today since we can dedicate 4 days to him being home. Hoping it goes well, but if not we'll retry in December when we can dedicate 7 days to it.
What are you looking forward regarding adding to your family? Looking forward to the tiny baby phase where all they do is eat, sleep, and poop
What concerns do you have regarding adding to your family? Nervous about having 2 kids and how DS will do. Also nervous about DS being out of daycare for 6 weeks.
Are you planning do to anything different for this birth, or are you wanting a similar experience to previous birth(s)? Nervous about the epidural since I had a rough time with it last time. Maybe seeing if I can go longer without one. Also really hoping BP can stay under control so I don't have to be induced. I would like to experience going into labor naturally.
How old is/are your other kid(s)? 2
How is/are your kiddo(s) doing? He’s good. Toddlers are super cute and fun and he’s always showing off what he’s learned. Terrible twos do hit occasionally, though.
What are you looking forward regarding adding to your family? I know it’s more of a long term thing, but I’m just so excited that DS won’t be an only child. I love having a brother. I think it will be great for him to have a sibling as he grows up.
What concerns do you have regarding adding to your family? I’m a little scared of the not sleeping phase and surfing with two young kids while I work full time.
Are you planning do to anything different for this birth, or are you wanting a similar experience to previous birth(s)? I’m not super happy with the way things went last time, but I’m not sure I can change them. I hope I’m able to progress at a better rate than I did last time (had to be induced). Also hoping I don’t get a rude nurse who tells me I’m being too loud during transition (and refuses to check my cervix). I swear she just didn’t want to deliver a baby that night. I hope my actual doctor can deliver like she did last time, but I know that’s the luck of when you deliver. She just made me feel so much more comfortable once she got there (basically, she came in for the day when I was just about to start pushing).

How is/are your kiddo(s) doing? He's doing great. They're working on letter recognition in his pre-k class and he's loving it. He's also just getting a lot more independent, which is great for all of us.
What are you looking forward regarding adding to your family? We just found out we're having a girl, so I'm excited to have one of each. And I think my son is going to love being a big brother. I know it's not always going to be easy, but I'm looking forward to that.
What concerns do you have regarding adding to your family? Since we have a longer gap between kids, I'm nervous about going back to all the baby stuff: diapers, breastfeeding, bottles, etc. It was so nice when we put some of those things behind us the first time.
Are you planning do to anything different for this birth, or are you wanting a similar experience to previous birth(s)? I'd love a pretty similar experience, although my son was born 3.5 weeks early and I'd love to be a little closer to my due date this time. Largely not in my control, of course, but I did just decide to start progesterone shots to reduce the chance of preterm labor. He was only preterm by a few days, but I know second kids can often come earlier and we want to do what we can to prevent that.
