@miss.sally YES!!! I usually put my Christmas tree up and get my house decorated for the holiday season the weekend after Halloween, but this is my first year with my partner and he's absolutely adamantly against it. *angry face* He wants me to wait until after Thanksgiving but I just don't think I can do that, lol.
Sorry I’m on team no Christmas until after Thanksgiving 🤷🏻♀️
We have so much candy leftover but it was half off at the grocery store and I bought another bag that had milk duds in it bc DH mentioned milk duds last night and I couldn’t get them out of my head 😬

Also team-post Thanksgiving! I love Christmas music, and if I start to listen to it too early, it gets old quickly. Though, one of the pre-set Sirius XM stations in my vehicle just switched over to be a Christmas channel--luckily I have like 20 different pre-sets...
Same as @varimama@chichiphin@kagesstarshroom I wait until after Thanksgiving, which is my favorite holiday! I absolutely love Christmas, and it gets more fun as DS gets old enough to get excited about it, but I still hold off on decorations and whatnot until the weekend after Thanksgiving.
I don't listen to Christmas music until the day after Thanksgiving, but I just love having my house decorated with the little fairy lights. It makes it SO cozy.
November 1st is basically Christmas over here. I’m obsessed with all things Christmas. Music, decor, all of it. My kids all have a small Christmas tree in their rooms 🤣
Also team post Thanksgiving for all things Christmas. I love the day after Thanksgiving because we always travel on the actual day and the family is so big we do not get any leftovers. I usually make a small second Thanksgiving on the day after and we put up decorations as a family.
FFFC. My idea of splurging is buying a new bathroom trash can with a lid at Aldi’s. I even thought F this I deserve it when putting it in the cart 🤦🏼♀️ (our dog keeps shredding tissues and I am sick of bending over and cleaning it up!).
@miss.sally I respect that so much! Canadian thanksgiving was in early October so after Halloween it’s fair game up here! But i usually like a breather from Halloween decor so like to decorate mid November
@jenEP lol that is amazing! What kind of ice cream?
im about to have Wendy’s for dinner - but I’ve never had a frosty before 🙃 I’m excited to try it. It’s also been like 10 years since my last wendy’s
You guys. Thanksgiving is so late this year! You’ll only get like 3 weeks of decor and music! Cray. Pentatonix Christmas station has plenty of variety to keep me entertained for two months.
I don’t celebrate Christmas (Jewish) but as a high school choir teacher, I teach Christmas music to my advanced ensemble and we perform throughout December at office parties, hospitals, nursing homes, museums...as such I am already sick of Christmas music.
